HI, I have recently taken DSGi to court (Currys) through the small claims court and all the way through they seemed as though they couldn't care less and there solicitors wouldn't budge on settling to start with. They made a few offers to settle out of court which we refused and then they paid up in full which included compensation and fees paid etc You probably won't get any help from any stores/letters etc I would recommend you go straight for court action. I am embarrassed to say I used to work for Currys (left when I
realised how they practice) and I know they fob people off again and again and the only real way to get action done is to take them to court.
The process can be long and its also very easy and the moneyclaimonline site takes you through it step by step.
If you wanted to try a strong letter first I can PM you the name and address of the legal dept,
Good Luck

Thanks Claire
When I threatend legal action the person on the telephone freely gave me the address for their litigation department. They seemed to have all the details to hand, obviously they are asked for them frequently!
I will let you know how I get on.winnie81 wrote:HI, I have recently taken DSGi to court (Currys) through the small claims court and all the way through they seemed as though they couldn't care less and there solicitors wouldn't budge on settling to start with.
