Well we are back home, sitting watching footie and de-stressing - waiting for dinner to cook as I forgot to put the slow cooker on this morning :p My My it was cold most of the morning - glad I dug my gloves, shawl type scarf and warm hat out to take with me as I had to put them on as soon as we got there - it was frrrreeeeezing. We had a cuppa with friends and then I sat in the van while Mr 3Dogs started to set up the tables and get the boxes out, then I set 'my' stuff out over my 4 allocated tables ;) Put 50p on first 3 tables and put a few dearer things on the last table, with boxes of books for 50p or 3 for £1 under the tables, with a couple of other bigger things

They were quite a few people about and the sun did get out on and off, so I did manage to take off my hat and gloves by about 10 am ;) In the end, after paying £5 towards the pitch fee, and giving Mr 3Dogs £10 back for some dearer stock he had given me to sell, I made £45 so that takes the total for them to £63 and we are going to call in to the kennels tomorrow to take that in, with the dogs' old sweater-type coats we are donating, and see if they can give us an official poster/letter to put up on the stall, perhaps with some photos too :j :j :j :j Feeling very happy right now and it makes being so cold this morning well worth it :j :j :j :j

Hiya Susan, glad you did well today, despite the chilly weather. We have had a glorious sunny day down here and have done loads! Managed to do our weekly shop at Mr L's for £36 ...very pleased with that, SW managed to do more than a weeks shop for £26. Then headed home for lunch, had our snack/nibbles then headed out to the factory curtain outlet where they have a 1/2 price sale. SW managed to buy two pairs of curtains at 1/2 price then had a further 10% off as we cut out a voucher from the local paper. Then headed to the coast and had a glorious walk (approx 5 miles) now back home for a well earned cup of tea!

  • Well worth the early start 3Dogs.

Hope Miss Kit has her feet up boys and you're faffing around our princess lol Keep them in line Kit :rotfl:

    Hi beanie

I'm logging on to tell you I'm logging off for the night. I'm poorly bad, feels like I'm swallowing knives and really tired.

The electrician has been and done more tests. He has to replace the board or what ever it is, also wire something near copper pipes. I don't know. The wiring is that old that there is a risk that the house may need rewiring because it might not be appropriate for the new board (whatever that is) See what happens, if rewiring we'll have to upsticks and lodge somewhere for a wee while.

Also decided to sell some tat on ebay to raise funds for grey highlights. I know, must be mad but I'm determined to embrace the curse and not be a slave to brown dye for the rest of my dyes.. lol afrugalbrunette - might need another username :rotfl: guffaw onlookers, guffaw :p

Right i'm off. night night and i'll call (text first) tomorrow Steve... ZZzzzzzzzzzzzz x

They have 8 less at our store than they had before Mr 3Dogs called after the car boot ;););) Funny that, I've just checked and there's only 5 there now ...................... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You three have had a great day by the sound of it - I know that anyway from speaking to each of you on the phone - I hope you didn't eat too much of Andy's roast or you won't have any space left for chocolate biccies at Kit's later

Oh yes, we both remember that advert - 'follow the bear' - is it any wonder that it is not made now!!

Oh poorly Chelle - well at least you will see the doctor tomorrow to get something to sort it out as you're going anyway :D:D take care hun - rest, that's the best, and drink lots of plain water to ease the throat :( Hope they sort the wiring out too pet and it doesn't involve you having to move out for even a short time - actually, if it does have to be done, couldn't they arrange it for when you are on holiday;)

Hiya and goodnight boult - that's a lot of painting you've done today petal and you did a shift at work first!!! you need and deserve an early night :(

Thanks Beanie - really pleased with today, both of us - and Mr 3Dogs has the number of someone who is ringing to go through ALL his record stock and likely to buy loads by the sound of him - he sounded genuine as we had a long chat with him, and he certainly knew his stuff - so, hopefully, more money on its way ...... :T :T

Mr 3Dogs is going through the 2 boxes of records he bought for a fiver of a mate today, a fellow trader, and they are plenty good ones amongst them :T :T

I went to the casino last night, won nada (again) My friend put in a tenner and got 70 back. I think im just destined to never win in that place!! Still, it was a good night and i got a nice merry level and went to bed at about 3am, only to have to get up at 8am. So i'm a bit tired now!

Boult: I HATE gloss!!!! Its so hard to get it off the brush and then the hands after i touched it, and then again when i tested to see if it was dry!! 9...no chance!!

3dogs: Thats a lovely donation to the local kennel, along with the coats. You're going to heaven! :p
