Schoolfriend is going a bit crackers that i can't come to a meet. They are all doctors I can't afford to travel so far and stay in a hotel and i get so tired. I dont know if i want to see them anymore. Fed up. It feels as though everyone is upset that i am spending time with my MSE friends and not with them? Do i ever pressurise them when they do things and i am not invited?
What am i not seeing that they all are?:(Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

I guess that they are used to you needing them and always being there, so, now you have new interests and new friends and are finding your independence, they see you changing and are worried /troubled by it. It is sometimes hard when others have depended on you, to see them depending on others instead. They can't see that it is not that you have found new people to depend on, it is that you are finally finding your own life and making your own choices. It may take them some time to come to terms with this change in you - the new independent and assertive you - if they are true friends then they will give you that time, and the same applies to you - if you value their friendship then you would need to give them time to come to terms with the new you
Hope you get something sorted with a butcher Aesop - meat is so expensive these days anyway. I read some time ago, that all New Zealand lamb is halal, as their biggest market demand it so all of the animals are killed this way - and this applies in other countries and to other meats too - the article told not to be surprised that the meat from supermarkets is actually halal killedMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I am a little annoyed with my brother today  I texted him this yesterday:
Do you want to go shopping tomorrow. C (neice) is away all day with jazz band so I am going to see Mam at lunch and dinner time if you want to go down with me at lunchtime then go shopping? Or go Tuesday?
He replied:
Thanks. Will see u tomorrow
Sooooo, I get up early this morning, well early for me, and went up to see him at 11.30 am to take a few things up for him and then take him with me to see Mam and then go get his shopping. He wasn't ready and just carried on with what he was doing, feeding the birds in the garden. I put the bits away I'd taken and chatted to him - he then said he didn't need any shopping as the fridge and freezer were full - why didn't he say that yesterday  - and said it was too late for him to get changed to come with me to see Mam  I said, not to worry, I would do both visits and had to leave now as it was by then 12.30 pm and Mam's dinner is served around that time. I dashed down and signed in at the home at 12.45 pm to find Mam asleep over her rice pudding. It took a while to wake her up but she then started tucking into her rice. She later said that she had dropped off asleep, so she knew that she had done that
Any way, she was fine after that, but definitely weaker, and she chatted a little - she managed all her cup of tea again today
I am just off now to see her again, to check she gets her dinner, so I will see you all later  :cool:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

SW, what 3Dogs said about your friends, I concur.
Please don't let it upset you. It is not worth getting upset over.
People always feel left out when a friend talks about spending time with other friends, and probably jealous too.
me, I can't be bothered with all that. Have no time for it at the moment. If my friends are going out with their other friends having a fab time, good.
When we are mutually free, we will meet and have our own good time.
