good to hear you had a great day both of you. :)

my voice has started coming back but as soon as Sam realised he said Mummy you can talk and is now doing things to make me talk again. Told him off as much as I could that even though it is coming back, it is still hurting my throat to talk, so I should avoid talking for a few more days.

But he hates not having me answer every 476 questions he asks in a day!

DH told me the average 3 year old asks 476 questions a day, he read it in one of my magazines

I am so glad your voice is coming back
remember to stop talking for a while longer , the voice obviously needs rest still so another couple of days might be all that you need, if your throat is still sore make sure you drink plenty of water as the vocal chords can be affected by dehydration too, garggling with water or salty water or tcp if you have a throat infection is good and soothing but dont strain
use your sign language to tell your little flower you are not talking today
practice doing sliding scales up and down like a siren can also help exercise the vocal chords and encourages them to work properly again dont strain if it is sore or swollen stop and rest
i hope you find more improvement tomorrow sweetie, it wont be long before you can talk normally again and then you can see the dentist to get the teeth done-a light at the end of the tunnel;););)

    Hi guys!!!!

I've had an amazing weekend :) I went to see David Guetta in brixton! (brixton wasn't as bad as i thought) He didn't come on till 12:30 and he finished at 3am. Didn't get to sleep till 5:30 when it was light again. I'm proper tired now!!

Oh and then i went to abercrombie and fitch and bought a lovely top, but the highlight was having our photo taken with this 6'5 hunk of a man (topless). It was a gooood day ;)

I hope everyones well and having a good weekend!

Mam was a lot brighter tonight when I went down to see her - I fed her some soup and then she had ice cream with her bit of madiera cake - tonight she managed a whole cup of tea fine :j

She looked less drawn today and was chatting away - mainly ramblings but hey ho, who cares? ;) She asked if 'my man this means hubbie was still working', and if 'I was going straight to work from there' so I just say yes and that keeps her happy. She started off saying someone had been asking for Alan, but she had told them that no-one called Alan lived there now Alan lived with us for a while before we got married ;)

Oh and when I got there, I said hello and then went into the bathroom to put water in a vase for the flowers I had taken down - I heard her shout 'Johnny' really loud and I rushed out but she was calm, she just said 'I've shouted for Johnny my brother to let him know you're here' so that was current as she obviously was thinking she was at home
