Sam kept trying to get me to talk this morning, and when he realised I can't, he made me whisper replies to him and then would whisper back to me.
I am avoiding talking to much to him, he is watching a lot of TV today! He is getting used to not asking me questions because I can't answer him. I do need to whisper though when I need to talk to him as he can't read!0 -
Poor flower. When i lose my voice I gargle in warm salty water but not if it upsets your ulcer which it will. Crumbs. ~What has caused it?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

LOL, I can't eat, let alone gargle. How am I going to cope at dentist tomorrow when he is doing my root canal? Can't put it off any longer.
Think have been so stressed about money, it has affected my health big time!
Just doing surveys, and noticed some of them haven't done since august last year! I have been getting invites, but didn't do them! How much money I might have earnt! Trying to get a bit better at doing them regularly but still might be a couple of days before i look at them and some are already closed.
Need to get more disciplined! have signed up for more MS companies, so hopefully can earn a bit more.
Seen a job advertised today, local, pays more than current job, 2 hours less than current job, only for 12 months, but what the hell? Am going to apply for it.0 -
Apply for job. Can you cut back on the surveys so you can just rest and get your voice back? I think you are pushing yourself too hard.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

I think one of my real life friends might be upset that i have been meeting everyone else recently and not them. This person goes abroad 4 or 5 times a year and I have never complained that they have gone without me. I love them very much but i am finally doing things it has been 20years. I think i am finally getting a backbone. Am not going on facebook. A bit cross.
Back to marking. Heyho.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

no the surveys are for hard cash, luncheon vouchers and gift cards for places like Tesco, so really need those!
I haven't been doing my surveys! that's the problem, missed out on so much.
I think just too stressed about everything in general, and it has caught up with me. Hopefully when we do DH's tax return, we can afford a holiday this year. first time in 5 years0 -
:grouphug: dodgy hug Kit. They are probably just jealous you are having such a good time, and being a bit rude about it.
friends can get a bit selfish and forget about others around them but then expect you to be there for them. We are all human
But you are doing so well, being assertive and all0 -
Visiting up north last week was the first time for me in 5 years too. It felt really good. I feel like a much healthier person. It was very historical too as I remembered bits about the Industrial Revolution and had an insightful conversation with Porge about Arthur Scargill. I learned a trememdous amount.
Lots of people go on newspaper hols like in the sun for £10. I have seen them on the threads but have never been. could you try that?
I had better go and do some work. Back in an hour or two. Rest.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

They are very kind and everything I am sure they are not being spiteful maybe just a bit upset that i am seeing new people and not them. It's just that everyone is used to me being a tagger alonger. I never do anything interesting and now i am actually enjoying going out with Steve, Andy, Susan etc they worry i wont have time for them. The counsellor said i had to make changes or i would end up seriously depressed again and I dont regret anything for a minute. So I must think positive thoughts.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I have lost my voice and have MS job this afternoon.... notepad and paper here I come.
I need to find my certificates, want to apply to open university. Am going to tackle the dreaded cupboard.....
Oh no, Aesop, not THE dreaded cupboard   Mr 3Dogs told me earlier that he had been clearing stuff from the sitting room and THE cupboard and had taken a load of stuff to the tip  I hope he didn't take anything we should have kept  He is tackling the bedroom next :eek:LOL, I can't eat, let alone gargle. How am I going to cope at dentist tomorrow when he is doing my root canal? Can't put it off any longer.

Your loss of voice and mouth ulcers are definitely due to stress hun - as soon as you get your hubbie's tax returns out and you know how you stand, you should pick up but don't let it pull you down too far or you will take too long to recover
I am exactly the same with my surveys - been neglecting them terribly - in fact only ones I've done are 2 PCone one's this year   Now that I don't have to spend so much time on Mr T's DTD thread I should be able to do some but still haven't started - the best way is to set aside a certain time of day for them and spend 1 hour or whatever just doing them. It's not as if they are stressful to do as they don't require much thought really, but it's just motivation for me - something I've lacked in my life for a long time now. Right - tonight from 11 to 12 I am doing surveys, OK? That's a start anyway
Good luck with the job hun - even though it is only for 12 months, you never know where it may lead and you will be better off not just financially, and time-wise, but also much happier than where you are now - good for you for going for itsavingwannabe wrote: »They are very kind and everything I am sure they are not being spiteful maybe just a bit upset that i am seeing new people and not them. Positive thoughts coming your way hun - you are doing so well taking more control of your life and have definitely made lots of progress - be happy hun, remember HAPPY IS GOOD :j :j :j :j
My neice and the girls are coming round after school at 3.30 for an hour before I go down to see Mam. My brother text me that she was very sleepy and looked drawn when he was there at lunch time - didn't eat her lunchSo will see how she is when I get there and ask the nurse what doc said
Add: great joke Kit - Mr 3Dogs told me about it when he rang earlier - he just said you had posted a naughty but great jokeMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
