    Hi Andy

if I get up there, it will be me and DS and possibly DH, no time for friends allowed

I love the people up there (the majority anyway) and just want to do some sightseeing.

Will next time we go up, tell the family in advance that is what we are doing, no doubt MIL will tag along, but at least I will get to see the sights.

tell Kit, I keep giving her info for her students regarding Ts and their pricing policies, etc.

we all know (or should do)the big supermarkets, make us think they are pricing things for our benefit but they still make a profit from us.

I know for a fact that when Mr S reduces items on a Tuesday night ready for Wednesday on the major aisles, not the reduced at end of day items, that he raises the prices on other items to compensate. So he does not lose any money at all!

Aesop alot of the sights are within easy distance of the metro/bus system so easy to get to, whitley bay is really beautiful.... and to see it in sprintime with pale green leaves on the trees, plus blossom all about has been a real plus point

I managed to get to Whitley bay! me and DH and DS went there. It was DS' first time on sand, he hated it...lol.

It's MIL, she likes to dictate what we do while we are up there, but if I make it clear before we get there I want to sightsee, she will decide what we are going to see and when.... lol.

I have seen the opera house, know the guy who project managed it being built. And saw the old mill. Have been on the moving dancefloor, the princess boat ?

Just back from seeing the guys off at Newcastle station - they get back to Portsmouth about 3 pm - lots of hugging and kissing on the platform :D:D:D - but now the house seems awfully empty and quiet without them :(:(:( In fact, the car seemed awfully quiet without them as I drove back here :rotfl:

I am doing some washing now but otherwise having a lazy day until I go to see Mam at 4.30 pm. Afterwards, I am calling at my neice's to show her how to print off her Tesc0 price check vouchers and to print mine off too

I do hope that everyone had a great Easter break and is OK

I am nearly falling asleep over my laptop so I am going to give in and have a lie-down upstairs - will be back after my nap

Last I heard from the guys, they had arrived at Kings Cross and were about to travel across London to Waterloo for their train back down to Portsmouth

Add: Steve just text to say they are now on the train to Cosham (Portsmouth) x

The boys carried my cases all across the underground and then along Cosham High Street as i went to get some cakes. I think i have put on a fair bit of weight. Mr 3dogs thank you so much for sending the glittery trousers - after I did admire a sequinned pair sometime back!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They have just left and i am going to get some shut eye and will be back on tonight. Weather is glorious here and birdies are chirping.

A fantastic trip. Hope you all had a great Easter. I have come back with sooo many eggs. Am soooo happy. Just going to check emails then off to bed for a bit. Back later.

    :):):):):):)
