ah! good news :-) 3rd attempt at sorting the laptop virus etc out was a total success :-)

sorry no grand national tips from me... i used to gamble on horse racing in a big way in years gone by, but nowadays i dont even put a quid on. no racing anymore, no roulette, no fruit machines, not even a national lottery ticket. I'm a good boy now lol!

No-one about? I'm not surprised as it is a glorious day - glad the good weather has made it into the weekend for those who work

I've been to see Mam to feed her at dinner time - mind you she managed a full plate of pureed meat/gravy, mash, peas & swede, then a big big bowl of semolina with a Rolo dessert stirred into it, a full cup of tea and one dunked biscuit, and other than the dunking, she did it all herself with no help :j My sister then came down for the afternoon and did her moisturising, massage, nails, etc and I went back to pick her up to bring her home. I've just had a quick cuppa and a cereal bar and going down for dinner time 4.45/5 pm with my brother who had a run out to Hexham & Hadrians Wall on the bus earlier today

Hope everyone is )OK and enjoying the weather - make the most of it and we never know how long it will last do we?? :j :j :j :j

Will check back on later tonight - see ya all later then :D:D

Glad to hear your Mum is doing reasonably okay 3dogs - we went to do the food shopping (we were planning on going to Wilkinsons and Sainsbugs but there had been an accident or something in Huntingdon and the road was blocked by the Police , so we turned around and went to Waitrose instead :o)

Hi folks, haven't been on here for a few weeks, so hugs to all.
As for computers, download 'Parted Is Not Ghost', burn the CD, then use it to create an image of your Windows partition on to an external drive. That way when it goes belly-up, you can easily restore a fully-working version quicker than fixing whats wrong.

I agree Beanie - thanks Patman but I keep forgetting to make a recovery disk even though my laptop keeps telling me to :o:o

Mam was good again tonight when I went down - ate all her tea, and ice cream with a Rolo dessert in, drank a full cup of tea and plenty of juice :j She knows who we are, but also talks about coming upstairs, going to the shops, what the woman over the road was doing/saying, asking if Dad is there, is my brother in, etc - just humour her and keep her feeling happy :j :j

I'm watching Mamma Mia on TV at moment - I actually have not seen it before but ccertainly enjoying the music party0007.gif
