:( that is so sad about your nephew. Remember you mentioning that last year.

It has been a glorious week here, we went to the Lido yesterday with a friend, and we are going to feed the ducks with brown bread this afternoon and then hit the playground.

Friend is messing me around a little and am getting quite annoyed, trying not to let it get to me as it is not worth it, and I am probably hyper sensitive at the moment. Friend is being quite demanding and wanting things done to her timetable which doesn't suit me.

Just had a Eureka moment with DS! He kept talking about someone called Chloe, thought it was an imaginary friend - it is Peppa Pig's cousin!

sorry to hear about your Mam 3Dogs. Is she fit enough to take in the hospital garden via wheelchair? or would it be too much for her?

anyone betting on Grand national? Our local hospice charity has managed to get a well known bookmaker to agree to a free bet in our area, we have to print off a special coupon, and then if the bet wins, the charity automatically gets the money. Any ideas on likely winner? Have said to charity will have a go.

Thanks Aesop - they can't get Mam out of bed as she is too fragile - they did manange to get her into a comfy chair about 2 weeks ago for an hour at a time, but on third day she had such pains on her side they won't do it again :( My brother has just got back from visiting her and she is much more alert today - talking rubbish and he doesn't think she knew who he was, but brighter :) Will be going down later with my sister

I've spent most of the afternoon trying to rid my laptop of nasty stuff, i turned it on this morning to find it crammed with malware and virus warnings, big red boxes appearing on the screen and fake virus warnings etc... it wouldnt let me open any windows, run any programs, or do anything with it.
I'm now on my third attempt to clean it (each try takes longer than an hour grrr!) and if it doesnt work this time then i will just have to pay(cringe) for a new windows disc and reinstall the whole lot. I'm quietly confident though that it's going to work this time.... so fingers crossed :-)
I'm also suddenly feeling very grateful for the fact that ive got a desktop pc as well as a laptop, phew!
