Just a bit of help and advice on this one please.

On Cool New Mobiles web site the offers on the 3 network are 12 months FREE line rental on a 12 month contract. Video Talk & Text 700 @ £35 per month = £420 but it states the cashback amount is £367.50 how does this work please.

line rental for 1st 3 months is £17.5 which is £52.5 and last 9 months is 35 which is £315. 52.5+315= 367.50

Ok thanks for that. So on the cashback claim form it will be 367.50 divided by 5 = 73.50 month 4,6,8,10,12 is this correct

I made it 73.50 as well but you need to check which bills you are sending. It is usually bills 5,7,9,11 and 13 due to them sending a bill out almost straight away when you first take the contract out. Maybe if you post the date you took out the contract and your billing date someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly to advise you which ones you need to send in your case... I had to ask the same question the other day and found the replies very helpful.

It is 4,6,8 etc on the claim form but can't see anywhere where it says 3 months at 17.50 not saying thats not right but can't see it anywhere

Yes, it's the end of month 4 i.e. 120 days which in reality is the 5th bill because you get your first bill straight after you get the phone - I have just done my first claim on one of these ("month 4") and then it takes 28 days for the cheque to come through.

The 3 months half price line rental is also fairly common - this was what I had on my previous deal (not with Cool New Mobile)

Ok thanks. Just one more thing when is a good time to cancel at the end of the contract,, a month before ??

the phone was delivered on thursday so i put in my first claim at the end of March is this correct

Yes, assuming it's the same sort of deal I was on. I got the phone in May (about the 20th), claimed in September using the bill that came around 20th Sept, then got a letter from them acknowledging receipt and saying allow 28 days - it came on the 28th day. I sent my claim Special delivery and photocopied everything.

Just waiting for the November bill to make claim no.2.
