Eek..uurgh..actually its a TOAD edit- NOT a RAT-a large one-i just spotted it loping across the living room,making a "plopping" sound as it hops..eeeuw..
police,fire,ambulance (for me)..what to do!:eek:

    large wooden object hard tap on the head job sorted, pick up by the tail and then put in bin. either that get a exterminator and they charge a fortune. but in my experience you've seen one but there maybe more.

    Toads are wonderfully useful in the garden, so please don't hurt it or kill it.

    ETA; Could you sort of encourage it towards you garden with a piece of card, 'pig-board' style?

    Providing you`ve no pets or children, put a dish of poison down. Read instructions very carefully and wear gloves when handling. Drastic, but does work.

    Don't touch it with your hands the natural chemicals on your skin burn them

    And don't put it in water.. that will kill it too.

    Either scoop on a dustpan and shovel into a bucket and take outside and lay the bucket on its side.. and he will soon plop off.
