Ryanair name change..I made a mistake on booking!!!

Hi all,

I have dropped a massive clanger and stupidly booked a flight for september to reus in spain from east midlands but have put an M instead of N for the first letter of my initial!!!

I feel totally foolish for doing this and am basically wondering if anybody knows what the chances are of getting them to change that 1 letter for free or even a reduced fee??

Anybody else had similar experience with this?

I have checked the ryanair website and it is saying £100 for a name change? surely they can just change the 1 letter seeing as I am printing my own boarding pass and checking in online for gods sake!!!!!

Any advice welcomed.

Call them, if you ask politely they will charge you either £10 or even do it for free.

Good news, but can you tell me the number you managed to get through on and was there a long wait.

Hi,

the number I called on was 08712460000.

It is 10p per minute.

I was in the queue for around 5 minutes then on the call for about another 2 minutes so cost me less than a pound.

You used to be able to call them on +35312480856 which is a standard Irish landline which can be called for a pittance using a discount telecoms provider.

However, this has now been removed from their website and I cannot see any options for less than 10p/min. It would be useful to know if anyone finds one...

I looked and the cheapest was the 10p a minute one I am afraid...unless we have an insider on here who can help

i am shocked by this, absolutely shocked!! - are you absolutely sure that the lady you spoke to didnt charge 6 grand to your card?? lol

As an aside to this, you're allowed two spelling mistakes in your name by most airlines, so you could have just travelled as it is.
