Three will not give PAC code

I've been trying to get my PAC code since Wednesday evening.
Every time I check back with them to see if it's been done, I get told that "there is nothing on the system about this request". I re-request, and nothing happens. Must have spoken to about 6 people there, including so called managers.
How do I force a PAC, Ofcom? Will Three shops do it?
All help appreciated guys.
Cancel that, now succeeded! What a bunch of complete scumbags.

I helped a (non-English speaking) friend through this problem with 3.
Eventually, we just gave up as he had become familiar with his new number.
Amazingly useless company in almost every respect.0 -
The beauty of call centres is that you don't keep trying with the same person - hang up and call again. Better still if you do it quickly before they update your notes
It took me under 5 minutes to get mine - The script seems to go:- What deal have you been offered?
- Why are you leaving?
- Let me check what I can do....
Before I'd finished mentioning coverage (it was just an excuse) they had checked the coverage at home and were asking for my work postcode. At this point I snapped at them and mentioned the exec office (they changed the end date on my contract for me so I could leave whenever I wanted to). With a brief apology I was told I'd get my pac code and have a nice day. It came through about 5 minutes later by text.
(I haven't used it yet while I weigh up GiffGaff vs Three)
My advice - if you get someone unhelpful, ask for their name and make a note of it, then try again!0 -
Send an email. And follow it up with a letter to their Glasgow contact centre. Speaking to the call centre is problematic at the best of times, and can be easily avoided.0
