    Good call ' buglawton ', my 20 year old collection of records on gmail's non-cloud syatem is intact.

    everything I put on-line, I zip, encrypt and most importantly tick Encrypt File Names all using 7 zip. Just prevents future problems and issues :)

    yep this is exactly what I would do if I was to put anything sensitive in the cloud (also I would split files to match the upload limits).
    but at the moment all I use the 'cloud' for is to backup my wallpapers for my phone/computer which, needless to say, is about as unsensitive data as you can get.
