Can you still claim jsa? When you become a m shopper you need to become self employed, therefore if you are employed, you are not actually seeking work as you have a job? I honestly do not know how the system works anymore so I could be completely wrong!
  • Hi, sorry to ask, but I have just signed up to First Tacking, and I was wondering the SPi assignments are please?

With JSA, anything that classes as "income" will be counted.

I personally class income to be profit only, so dont declare the whole fee as this will include your expenses.

But, I doubt they will care much until you get to the 16 hour "minimum" - anything below 16 hours dont worry them.

Not true. When i was on JSA i did one days work with an agency. That money was deducted from my payment. so the hours have nothing to do with it.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Can someone try and get on the TNS Vas site please and let me know if it's all working fine. I keep getting that the page cannot be displayed. And ironically the downforeveryone... site also gives the same message so can't use it to check!! :D
I can still get on most other sites though ?!?

Has anybody else dramatically cut down on the types of jobs they take. I notice that there are Hardware stores available on ABAI still but the fee is so low that the time I travel, park and complete the shop including purchase I would be out of pocket. I am finding the cost of petrol is severely restricting the jobs I take, plus I am not taking reimbursement only. A lightbulb went on and I realised that these actually cost me money, for example sports shops, I would not have bought the item anyway and generally some of the better stuff costs far more than the reimbursement anyway! What do other people think or am I cutting of my nose etc!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

Boy I wish I hadn't started a loan assignment!!! It started last Thursday and is really starting to stress me out now! I am just so worried I am going to go through this whole process and end up not being reimbursed by the MS company and I'll be out of pocket £69.95 from a bloomin brokers fee that is too late to cancel - arggghhhh!!!!! I knew the fee for this was too good to be true!!!

I think you'll find most will agree, I've stopped taking a lot but still take some low fee ones that are still worthwhile (ie just applied for a React Burger, giving a day in question I'll be assessing the Gap chicken outlets on the North and Southbound Service Station, needless to say I won't be eating it all - Once I've 'tested' them) :)
