I used to work for the Bookies that's just been released, and to be honest whatever you do it's likely the staff will know that you're the mystery shopper. You don't get many females in a bookies to start with, so when a stranger comes in and places the standard £2.00 bet, along with asking to use the toilet, you might as well be wearing a sign around your neck.

If the ms companies want to make it less obvious then I think they should vary the bet amount and also let us bet on what we want. It might make it slightly less obvious!

No Worries, finally corrected itself, just when I did my spell check it wasn't triggering the final check message but after 10 attempts it worked!

Quick HELP please??, I can't submit my grassroots supermarket audit, tried the FAQ's and even internet explorer but no help.
I complete the spell check but don't know where to complete.
I done one 2 months ago so not sure what's wrong.

Has anyone seen any new visits on GFK over the last few weeks? I ain't seen jack. Should I be worried? Hope it's not got anything to do with me saying I was not sure if the sales consultant was a man or a woman in one of the reports I did recently! It needed an answer and I had no idea if it was a he or a she? Oooops!

With all the moaning about RE, they might have listened. Picked a men's clothes shop today which had a higher fee/reimbursement than even the sports shop they do. It's quite a trendy place. Couldn't believe my luck. Woo. Woooo.

I haven't seen anything on GfK for a couple of weeks either.

I wouldn't look out of place in my local bookies - they're used to me popping in either to place horse racing bets or irish lottery bets. I suppose its the same with a sports shop on RE stating the team football shirt you had to enquire about - surely it would be less obvious if you could enquire about ANY football shirt.

Re the bookies jobs - they'll prob know you're going in anyway, i used to work at a leading bookmakers and still pop in regularly to see ex work colleagues and mentioned that i did mystery shopping and they advised they'd been Mystery Shopped recently but had known it was going to happen so knew what to look out for - again the MS'er had to place a certain type of bet (football bet).

  • Its horrible being restricted to 8 jobs on RE. After the 3 I picked up in the middle of the night for bookies, tempted to release a job because seen something better. Rather not have to release jobs.

I've been thinking the same thing all day....
