Please can someone PM the client(s) Catalyst work with as I want to do if it's worth making a long journey or not?
Thanks0 -
i find the esa fruity jobs fine? why does the brief make you look a fool? you are only asking a general question for help with picking a phone! i would ask for advice if i wanted a new phone as there are so many to choose from! im not too bothered about them seeing me take a pic- what are they going to do- run after me?
doing two next door today though so will prob do both pics after the second one!
i do reimb jobs and as discussed before- anything i can keep i pay tax on, all food i dont (except supermarket food as that is obv a benefit . i do not see eating out food as a benefit- if i ate at home it would cost me about £1 per meal so i am only paying that out for the job. i would choose as fee paying job over reimb only but if its something i would buy anyway and i have time then i will do it.
tbh i pay a lot of tax anyway as i do very few reimb jobs and most of mine are in my city and i walk so no mileage, parkling etc... as i also have a full time job i dont get any threshold.
speaking of reimb i have just picked up my first re job since august!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
I just find the scenario a bit off,not very realistic, mind you I'm quite savvy (tight!) with money so that might just be me! The asking for advice bit is fine though. That someone would spend that amount on that type of arrangement. A bit hard to explain without saying too much.
With the photos and being caught. I do these shops quite a bit for Gap, and the service is terrible (good for me as I am in and out in a few minutes) if they were to rumble me as a mystery shopper, one, I would not get a regular customer experience, two, risk Gap sacking me, and three, the floor show they would put on would make the job take 5 times as long!0 -
omg the gap scenario is so more moronic! i had a phone job booked for gap about 2 months ago, printed it out, walked to the shop, hid round the corner, read the complusory questions and went home!
i like with gap how you can pick the scenario as one is obv much quicker but the compulsory questions are about the other product and are totally moronic! no 25 year old would ever ask that, esp when the questions are not even about the product you are enquiring about! (being cryptic incase there are phone shop lurkers!):j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
i agree with you about being tight though! i have a bb which is expensive per month but to shell out all that at the beginning as well is out of my budget! they look cool but while i am in debt i cannot see myself buying one:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

Have you tried Virgin for your BB, mine was free and £10 per month contract.0

Grrrr I am so NOT impressed with Bare at the moment .
I couldn't get through to one of my jewellery phone calls - no answer. Followed the brief and phoned three more times, leaving it to ring for several minutes each time. Then had to complete the questionnaire with the summary detailing the times I phoned etc. So all in all, the job actually took longer than the other two I did, where I spoke to someone. Bare have now said that the information they supplied was wrong, so they will give me half fee :mad::mad:.
I have argued my case with them but they won't budge. If it had been a closed down shop, I could understand it but I spent ages phoning back through the day then doing the questionnaire .

that is really annoyingwhat is also annoying is that you have to do english tests. err hello, we speak better english than you!
also annoying is the gr travel agents that say you must wait for 30 mins before abandoning it- yes you guessed it- 28 minutes later i was served
i love how we are marked for spelling and grammar but the stuff we get from some of these co's are really bad! could not believe how many typos there were on the esa photo shop brief!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
