I do apologies for my grammatical errors I am using my phone to ask and reply to this question. It has the predictive on and as I do use text speak alot it automatically make the works in the shorter format. Thank you for your advice ButterPie, Your right there are plenty out there. I was just wondering when the association with a company is no longer and isssue. If the association is a long term thing then some people I know will never be able to do Mystery shopping (students that have had a lot of part time jobs). thanks again0

You need to use common sense really. For example, lets say I spent 2 months working 1 day a week in a bakery in town. I left 6 months ago, the manager has also left, no-one who works there knows me. Compare that to saying I spent 4 years working full time in a clothes shop, I left 3 years ago but the manager I worked with is still there and recognises me.0

Bit of a coincidence as I was reading this thread a couple of days ago and received an email about Mystery Shopping today. I'm guessing this is a scam though...
POSITION TITLE: Mystery Shopper
AVAILABILITY: Open
START DATE: Immediate
COMMISSION: $ 400 Per Week
Did anyone else get this email too? Is it possible for a scammer to get our email addresses from MSE somehow?0 -

Can you give us a clue?
They asked me for a description & didn't give me my original description. It's one of the assignments where you have to give a full name (first and last!!) & description, so I don't see how they don't know who it is!! I would have to find my notes to get the exact details again (e.g. the height, first name, last name) - sheesh!0 -
Tootiemac - there are plenty of assignments out there, I personally wouldn't risk it. Just a note as well - you need to have excellent English to be able to write up the reports. I know lots of people use "text speak" and aren't as careful with spelling and grammar on message boards, but it is worth noting.
I've always thought that but I've just been given an assignment with an example of a "best practice report" and the grammar is awful, missing verbs and a host of other issues. So perhaps not every company thinks like me. Dunno...confused now.0 -
Can anyone give me a hint on how to get the other abai clients? I have 6 from the link on the first page, are the rest invite only?0

This is why they ask you to keep your records. I would recommend a concertina box file (or 3) indexed for each company you work for. File in here by date and it's easy to find any paper work you need. One box coped with over 400 jobs worth of notes - easy to refer back to and just about £5.00.I've always thought that but I've just been given an assignment with an example of a "best practice report" and the grammar is awful, missing verbs and a host of other issues. Its a case of "Do as I say, not as I do" with most companies.
Just because they are wrong in spelling or grammar doesn't mean that you will get away with it. The Google tool bar has a handy spell and grammar checker on it which works well in most form filling sites. (including this one!)0 -

It's ok, my grammar is acceptable. It's the keeping of records where I struggle.0 -
David Horn told me that DogCam had stopped selling it and LawMate (the manufacturer) had withdrawn it.Where did you hear that from LOL? I use the EVO so does YONK, the BU13 camera has had some faults but not the unit.If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.0

See, i personally dont keep that info. I keep my breif and if i've done an audit keep that paperwork, but i don't write notes down like that as i tend to do a job on my dinner hour, come back and fill the report out stright away. Is this wrong??????
If they have already had a very clear answer and they are looking for a confirmation then send the details back asking if they are accurate and potentially explain if there is a problem (depending on the issue).I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0
