Anyone considering ESA's low fees should perhaps be aware that their turnover last year was £8.2m and they are owned by the SHS Group (Findus, McCains) who in turn turned over £415m last year.
They can easily afford the extra mileage.(DFW Long Haul # 240 )0 -

The brief and the questionnaire tied in together nicely: both seemed clear and logical. Entering the report was something of a nightmare because the site was timing me out every three to ten minutes and the pages took ages to load. The report itself was a doddle, really, once I persevered.
ABa were super to deal with by email and over the phone. I even had a nice email from them after I had submitted my report.
OK, the fee wasn't what I would call great, but considerably better than certain other companies would have offered. There a few companies out there who could take lessons from ABa in how to keep their assessors happy!;)
They suggest IE and to save lots. I've done one assignment for them, which I thought was very generous so they are worth persevering with. Terrific communication.0 -

Any idea what kind of profit they're making on that level of turnover? How much do we have to play with lol0 -

I don't do their assignments so I'm not sticking up for them but it's profit not turnover that is the key indicator here.0 -
Hi theres a job going which saysyou cant do it if ur family or friends work there you cant do it, but i really want to do it i am going there today anyway would i get caught?? and what would happen if i do???0

Without a doubt but a company turning over that much cannot have made little profit, it's not like they are running a store for example with several costs.(DFW Long Haul # 240 )0

Don't be stupid. If you have friends or family who work there DO NOT DO THE JOB! You are biased and you will not receive the normal service that a normal customer would receive.0 -
Please dont call me stupid. It not a very nice thing to start a reply with I forgot to put some info in that may change the situation its meant to read u ur friends or family work or have an association i used to work there a few years ago and wondered if i was still classed as having an association. that was all i was askin i dont see myself as bias as most people i worked with have left there now. but thanks for the reply anyway0

You'd still be classed as having an association, unless it says "cannot have worked there in the past 'x' years" and you worked there more than 'x' years ago.0 -
Tootiemac - there are plenty of assignments out there, I personally wouldn't risk it. Just a note as well - you need to have excellent English to be able to write up the reports. I know lots of people use "text speak" and aren't as careful with spelling and grammar on message boards, but it is worth noting.Goal = £9,000 in 2011, starting in March
Current total - £779 banked by 09/04/11
Also growing, scrimping and crafting to not need as much in the first place!0
