re the person wanting a new phone, (maybe berbastrike- cant be bothered to go back and check!) i have an iphone4 and can get all sites to work and can view re notes. i had a blackberry and had issues with gr, abai and re notes (though new ones maybe better).
if you have friends with smartphones, ask them if you can have a play and try and log in to the sites. alternatively go to a phone shop and ask to try internet out. i did in vodafone and tried various websites!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Oh yes, I'm an advocate of the iPhone 4. Love love love it! Couple of things I do on it which I find great -
iBooks - If I save notes as a pdf on the computer I can then email them over to myself and pick them up on the iPhone and save them into iBooks. Notes are then easily accessible without the need to log into sites.
Notes - If I make notes such as in out names etc on my phone it syncs automatically to my PC, so they're there ready to copy/past into reports.
Voice Memos - I use this ALL the time. The headphones provided have a microphone on them, so I can hang them around my neck, start recording just outside the shop and then I've got an accurate record of the whole shop. Great for timings without the need to press buttons. I will point out at this point that the recordings are for personal use only and not passed to any third parties and as I'm part of the conversation there's no need to get permission from the other person involved.
Email - instant notifications.
Internet - most website load without any problems, some let you fill in the reports but websites where there are boxes built into the page don't always let you click into them.
Hotspot - My phone allows me to be a wifi hotspot, so if I'm out and about and have my laptop I can connect my laptop up to my phones wifi and can fill in reports using that. No extra charges unless I go over my download limit.0 -
It is now June and am still awaiting payment from Catalyst for early April jobs. Emailed ABAI about pay for jobs completed beginning of May and they have not even had the decency to reply. Yet any hint of us getting something wrong and that's it no pay! Double standards in my mine and makes me wary of working for them.
ABAi, I had an email saying payments are going to be made tomorrow for the extra work I'd done for them so maybe yours will be the same.Boredupnorth wrote: »Hi all, First post on this forum. I have been mystery shopping for a couple of years now and recently registered with ABAi. From what I have read on here you can add clients to your sign on? I only have one at the min and it does not look like there is any work for them in my area. I have followed the instructions at the begining of the forum to try to add clients but it just tells me I am already registered? Does anyone know how to add them? Any help would be great.

Thanks - that's exactly the message I'm getting! Hope they sort it quickly!
EDIT: Just tried again and it's working now - just thought I'd post in case anyone else needs to know!0 -
A quick question for those for work for Mystery Customer Evaluations please.
I notice in the first post it says they allocate jobs by email. Do they email you and expect you will cover that assignment, or do they email you to let you know whats available?
I don't have a lot of time, so I like to pick and choose which jobs fit around my shifts.

Argh!
This weekend has been an absolute nightmare. Got stuck in a three hour traffic jam yesterday, only completed 7 jobs out of 19 today I've managed 3 out of 11. What do I do? Do I email the companies involved, explain the problem and ask for an extension, or do I go on the website, cancel the assignments and hope someone else can pick them up? They're all quite short deadlines and I don't know if they can be extended. Any help from more experienced msers would be appreciated.

I would email and ask for an extension. I find most, if not all, are happy to do this if the extension isn't too far into the future. At the end of the day, if you can cover it tomorrow or Tuesday it is easier for them to have you do it than to find someone else.
