    Hi guys,

I've just done my first GAP burger job and the system won't let me submit the questionnaire because of a discrepancy between the shop in time and the receipt time.

The shop in time is 18.15 ( that was the time on my watch and on my mobile) but the receipt time is 18.07 (I presume their till clock is a few minutes slow).

It won't let me submit because my shop in time is after the receipt time. What should I do?

    Thanks in advance
(P.S. I've looked at the FAQs and I've done a search on the last few threads in case someone else has posted a similar query but couldn't find anything).

Stick to the times on the receipt, so adjust your times to match and then explain the true times in the comments box at the end of the questionnaire. That's what I use to do and never had a query raised.

Go back and change the time on the till receipt to 18.17 and then explain this in the very end box for additional comments. You'll be able to submit the report then.

I'd adjust the receipt time by 10 minutes, I believe there is a question about whether the receipt time is out or not toward the end of the questionnaire, and also make a note of it in the end comments. It happens quite regularly that you need to say the wrong thing because gap don't accept something is possible on their reports. Particularly petrol stations that don't have toilets and vice versa. Well done on your first burger btw :)

I would alter the the times by your watch and phone to be as wrong as the till was (e.g. if by your watch you got your receipt at 18.17 then the till would be 10 minutes wrong so make the time-in would be 10 minutes wrong too - 18.05, then put in the comments bit at the end that the times on the report are according to the till which was x minutes wrong. Otherwise you won't be able to submit and it'll get deallocated before you get a reply through their email system.

Phones! I thought that was what people were stuck with?

Eugh, I'm having the same thing with the GfK phones.
Don't know why I bothered picking one up, I had the same issues with it last time, so should have just left it well alone again rather than having to cancel again!

I forgot to refresh before replying

How long do AA tend to take to pay? Did a job for them on 10th May and nothing yet.

When I did one in early March got paid on 15th March I think (definitely quicker than this anyway)

Don't understand, just did the GfK phones test again, thinking I'll give it one more chance before I send someone a message and see if there's anything silly I'm getting confused with.
Didn't worry about reading the notes again at this point, as I probably know the questions and notes by heart now word for word, so just put in the answers that I thought anyway, and hey presto, did it fine. :s
