Don't think I have ever returned an item to a food store so not sure if they would give you a refund receipt. Anywhere else I get the receipt back with item crossed off and a separate refund/ exchange one:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

True.
I think then a lot of people will just pop in, buy the things that they need to buy, and not bother with the rest.
Obviously not something (m)any of us on here will encourage!!
But seeing as getting decent feed out of ESA is a bit blood out of stone like now, maybe taking them for some easy money is justified!!
I know for a fact that this happens. BF works in an egg shop that gets shopped. They have a rough idea when it's going to happen but they don't know dates and times. When their results came back from the most recent set of shops he was apparently the member of staff that had served the mystery shopper both on the shop floor and at the till. He said he vaguely remembers a customer asking for a particular item but there was definately not a complaint/return/refund. They only ever get anyone asking for a refund when been mystery shopped so it always easy to remember when its happened. Funnily enough his egg shop scored 100% this round as did all the local shops. Same shopper perhaps?Operation House Move £11993.60/£25000 (47% achieved)

Can't believe I have made a completely basic error, I have managed somehow not to write down the staff members name. I have been mystery shopping for 18 months and never done that before.
I know she was definately wearing a badge I can see it in my head, ust can't picture what it said on it, I have description and can visulise her in my head, but can't get back to what her name was.0 -

Tough one. I have had a few where I genuinely couldn't get the name as the staff member kept turning away or had hair or a jacket covering the badge and just gave the description. I did say that they had a badge on but I couldn't read it. Usually this is in the supermarket shops where sometimes they just look up and tell you the aisle number lol! I have never had any company have issue with this so I would ust explain in your notes that you didn't catch the name, give a good description and hope for the best.0 -

If you've got a good description, you should be OK - obviously depends which MS co it's for...;) I did exactly the same recently on an ABA-i job - I remember staring at the MOS's name badge, but when I got out of the store, I couldn't for the life of me remember what her name was... My description was accepted in the report.0 -
Well ESA have excelled themselves. I did a job a month ago, and the company wouldn't give me a brochure (for the photo). Stated this in report, gave full description on staff member, name from badge everything. They told me I had to return to photo the store front, which I couldn't do the next day due to husband needed the one and only car we have (it was not my local town). They said they would call me back after checking if I could go a couple of days later. No phone call!! 15 calls to them later, not 1 single call back, they are now telling me as I refused to go back and take the photo they will not pay me . End of, no argument - I'm a crap shopper so deal with it (ok, he didn't say it, but I'm old enough, and can read between the lines).I only picked the damn job up as I had 4 others in the same town.0

Is it just me? I have only done one job from them and didn't get pay for very long time. When I emailed them, they replied and said that I didn't put any fee in the last page?0 -
