Just noticed on the new upload of pubs on RE (the ones with the lower fee and shorter questionnaire) that it says on it 'you must spend 45 minutes in the location'.

Has this been on previous waves of the lower fee ones? Bit cheeky, lower fee albeit less Q's and now a minimum stay.

I certainly will NEVER pay to shop! Don't care who recommends. Its a definite no go area for me. Have never in my life had to pay to apply for a job. Its greedy, unnecessary, unfair and downright WRONG!

No, I'm not going to do the certificate. I just don't agree with it and I think it looks very poor for the reasons I stated before.

It does say on the site that MS Ltd is aiming to assign the vast majority of their jobs to certified shoppers by the end of 2011 so there is a pressure to take the test, I think. Other companies filter by means of test assignments so it can be done at no cost to the shopper and it does check their ability and motivation.

Welcome Lizzie BTW, I didn't mean to get you into a fight, it's just something that put me off for a considerable period from signing up and I thought I'd mention it. :)

I just failed the Posh Sandwich test again today. Honestly feeling really confused. There are some ambiguous questions like the one about the name badge location, (my thinking was yes, it is, but no, not exclusively - could be a trick question as you should check both) There were a few like this and I should have kept note of all 6 attempts so I can eliminate answers but I can't understand why I am having such a nightmare over this and everyone else is not. I have done 100+ jobs for them and I have never struggled with the tests before this one.

I applied for two GAP burgers last night - was accepted for one and rejected for the other. But at least I am now out of the two assignments per month period (cue being terminated from GAP!)

Hallo Jen, thanks for the thumbs up! Yes it's Mystery Shoppers Ltd (or MSL for those who know us!), our website is mystery - shoppers. co. uk (can't make it linky as I'm new, but beware lookalike sites!)

We're doing lots more video these days so definitely worth registering and maybe dropping an email to follow up after a week or two.

Have you not certified yourself with MSE before posting and advertising?

    Post reported.

Was it you that used to give Max a hard time and be forever reporting him?

It's good to have company reps on here. It really is, as we can bring things up like we have over the last few pages.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed React are the latest company to start a war on decent fees? Every job recently seems to have come under attack. I'm truly gutted as I used to love working for React and they were one of my most prolific agencies. Quite a substantial amount has come off the Cinema reimbursement (and a bit off the fee too) and as for having to take a photo of the ice cream counter - bah!

I see React are jumping on the lower fees bandwagon, with their latest cinema jobs...

If these bl**dy Mystery Shopping want proper reports done, when are they going to realise that they are going to have to start paying decent fees again?

oops, posting at the same time as Nehpets81...
