Broken gas oven - who will repair?

Okay, it's suddently occured to me that the oven is electric and the hob is gas!

I just worked out the exact same thing lol. Can't believe I thought it was gas..

Great stuff thanks, might as well try and get the element out and get a replacement sorted and bill the landlady..

Okay, taken element out and it's cracked.. so it looks like we have found the problem yay

New one is £13.25

Wasn't hard to do at all, even with me being a girl!

I've also been known to change oven bulbs, extractor fan bulbs, and sourcing the bulbs in B&Q.. haha..

Also plumbed in the washing machine & sorted out the fuse box thing when the electric went off last night..

Oh and fixed the boiler when it lost pressure

UPDATE - I got the new element, fitted it and it works great and has done for a few weeks now

Got the neutral wire mixed up and tripped the electric a few times trying it lol..
