I was guessing from their posts though that they did not want to pay anything in advance and a payment plan would still work out less up front
Yes, you're probably right.
I've definitely seen a half yearly bill but it is probably the one in September/October that is sent out as a reminder.0 -
A year ago we moved into a 3 bed bungalow, our rateable water rates were £69.00 a month, we asked for a water meter, which took two months to actually get installed, our water rates were then reduced to £28.00 a month, we have just received our bill for the next year and our payment has been reduced to £19.00 a month, as the water company actually owed us money.
We have not reduced our use of water at all, so it may be in your interests to ask for a water meter. You only pay for the water you use.0 -
My local water company send the bill for the annual amount but request 50% paid by 1st April and 50% on 1st October. They also offer a DD plan over 7 months for the whole bill with the 1st payment taken in April.Freebies Received: Supersavvyme bag, Olay moisturiser, Barbara Daly/Tesco Mascara, Seeds of Change Choccie, Yorkshire Tea Kenyan teabags, Tesco mobile sim cards x 2.
Won: Yorkshire Tea goodie box0 -
Do they not let you pay in monthly installments? It's usually 8-10 payments by DD, starting im April. You just pay monthly until you move out and then cancel the DD.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Peachy, that was suggested at the start and the op never got back to say they had asked or anything.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
