In our company it was the last one.
That gave the last person the option to leave/ gather their thoughts and obviously if it's the first person then the next two automatically know.
Hopefully it will be different with you0 -
Yes, you're the one that will be going.

Do you mean the 30 days? Its only applicable if there are more than 20 redundancies i believe.
They still have to have "meaningful consultation" with the affected employees though regardless of how many are being made redundant. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Gives you time to get armed up and to take hostages.......0

Good Luck
I agree with mackemdave. You always talk to the individual involved first, then others if the decision has been made for Redundancy.0 -

Hi Sloganjerry
Update is that I still have my job!
It was the middle person that got the chop.
Their last day is 22nd March if they can not find another job in the company.
I have been busy applying for new jobs etc.
Getting some interest so hopefully some interviews soon.
Whole process has made me appreciate my pay cheque much more!0 -
Thanks for the update Jonathan. Glad you kept your job. But why are you looking for a new job then mate? Sorry. Just being curious........and very nosey! LOL0
