in Credit cards
Hello forum users
I am new. I am propted to send a request for help following the Mental Health brochure Martin & co have put together.
I suffered a mental breakdown nearly two years ago. My business fell apart. My relationship has now broken up and we are selling our property. Hopefully, there might be some cash left to rent somewhere for a while for myself and my daughter. I am now off medication and have finished a year of counselling, so am hopeful, but still have periods of anxiety and depression.
I have two major debts: Two credit cards of about £8,000. One was a transfer to a interest free lender about three years ago... I missed the initial payment and thereafter have just paid interest. They have now put a halt to interest and I pay a £1 a month - they will be expecting larger payments soon I think. The other is a credit card which I have been hounded for for a long time, but I disagree with the amount I owe because of charges. I don't know what to do because they want to take action against me. My final smaller debt is one for T Mobile, who I had a contract with for over 10 years. They say I owe more than I believe to be true and they have screwed up my credit so it will be difficult for me to rent somewhere. There are more things, but if I can just deal with these for now it would be good. Because I have been ill, I have found it difficult to even open a letter at times. I am very scared about the future and want to get free of debt, but I need some support. I would be very grateful for any advice. Thank you so much.

Hi, can i suggest that you repost this in the 'debt free wannabe' forum. They are very helpful in there, and there will be lots of people who will offer help and sympathy as they have all been there. I wish you all the best for the future0
