San Francisco Text Problem-Help Please

Options
Just wondered if anyone has any idea what the problem is and what to do to solve it please.

I can send and receive texts from UK but cannot for some reason send a text to Egypt - all I get is message not sent and a red exclamation mark through the envelope symbol.

Anybody any idea what is happening please?

Thanks in advance

    Check your networks rules .

    For example TMobile say .
You can text friends abroad, as long as they have a UK mobile, they're a customer of one of our overseas network partners, or a customer of one of the networks listed below.

Do you have the country code put in correctly before the mobile number?

For instance, UK would be +44778 283828, Egypt will have their own two digit number.

Thanks for your suggestion but yes I put +20 in front of the number and I have successfully sent a text to this number before. Sorry should have said that!

try "0020" instead of "+20" see if that makes a difference.
"00" is the international access code.
