i have free 250 mins every month to 08 numbers incl 0845 and o870

i notice that im getting charged for 0871. surely this should be free....

been on to india for 10 mins, billing did not know of 08 add on and is now arguing """ but 0870 and 0871 are one digit out""

does anyone have this add on?????????

Perhaps a bad subject title methinks so lets just ignore that and say yes, 0871 is a different charge from 0870 and 0845 numbers no matter the supplier.

0870 is not 0871, 0871 is not 0845 so you're getting charged!
Numbers beginning 078 will be included in your allowance, numbers beginning 070 wont be, numbers beginning 01 will be included in your allowance, numbers beginning 09 wont be... If you sign up for a package that says numbers beginning xy will be included in your allowance, don't assume the same will apply to numbers beginning xz are also included.

0871 calls are clearly not included in the bundle you have so therefore are chargeable.

I think the use of the term 'Talk 08' is the REAL issue. An expectation that calls to numbers commencing 08... should be in the bumdle. Because they go on to explain the limitations (only 2 codes) mean the service is really misdescribed (badly), but whether you'd get them to refund you is unlikely. Complainng to the ASA however, may cause them to look at their inacurate bundle names!
