Nah they we're on another receipt with a suit and shirts...I've found it ;-D gonna go shove it up the managers TILL!!!!!...LMAOoooo

With all due respect, do you come across this abruptly in person? If so, perhaps this is why people are suspicious of you?
Gone ... or have I?

OP.....Suggest you escalate and complain to Andy Clarke, ASDA Chief Executive, and Dave Forsey, Sports Direct Chief Executive via sending them emails to :

Dave.Forsey@sportsdirect.com

andy.clarke@asda.co.uk

Good luck and hope this helps.

Personally I wouldnt bother as both stores have followed there refund policies. Sports direct do not give refunds unless the goods are faulty, this is clearly marked on their tills. I dont know of any shop that gives refunds without a receipt, unless the goods are faulty and even then you need some sort of proof of purchase.

I was referring to the way you phrase things. You do come across as a tad ... dodgy?

surely if the manager really thought you had stolen the item he/she would have called security.

As allready pointed out, they do NOT have to give a refund or replace the item unless its faulty etc.
Even armed with a receipt they still dont have to do anything.

If your buying online you are covered by distance selling regs but buying from a store is different.
LMAO how many women with a baby can go into the changing rooms and try things on?...

I would have thought if you manage to go shopping with a baby you can spare 2 mins to try something on.
Was the baby not in a buggy?

Im a dad to two 20yr olds and ive managed it with both kids when they were small.
Your just looking for excuses now to hide your embarrasment.

That would depend on so many factors one being how big the changing rooms were - not very big in some cases.

Is there not normally always a larger disabled one?

And OP if the manager actually thought you stole the item you would not have got a refund, even a refund to a G/C, you would have been told to leave.

No not always and if so only one which may be occupied.I don't think I tried clothes on when I was out shopping on my own. Also as a breastfeeding mum(without going into detail!!) it complicated things a bit for me as well when my children were babies.

we are talking about a pair of jeans....
Would leaving the buggy on the other side of the curtain while you can see the buggy underneath and also hear the child for the time it takes to try on a pair of trousers be all that bad.
If i was in the slightest bit worried i would have squeezed the buggy in there somehow.
How do you think mums and dads have ever gone clothes shopping before?

Oh forgot to add. The OP bought Joggers for her daughter that needed returning to sports direct.
Do babies wear joggers? id have thought that was more toddler clothes in which case she could have been taken out of the buggy and into the changing room.

At least the OP will know her rights now when buying from a store.
