San Francisco / Three Mobile - problem sending text messages

My girlfriend is just back from abroad and her San Francisco phone on the Three network can make and receive calls fine, it can receive text message and the internet works, but it will not send text messages since her return. I have the same type of phone on the same network and my texts send fine. Any ideas???

Under Messages, I chose Settings, then Service Centre. The number in there is +447782000800 which is the correct number for Three.

Does anyone else have any idea what I can do to make the phone send text messages? It will receive them fine and phone calls work, but it just will not send SMS messages.

I finally found out what the problem was. The number I was texting was prefixed in the address book with 44 , then 7... This works for calls, but not texts. I changed it to 0044, then 7... and now it works fine. I've no idea how this happened or why it used to work but suddenly stopped working, all that can remain a mystery but I am happy I can text again!

The "00" for international access is usually seen as "+" on contact lists.
In the UK you can use either "00" or "+", but networks in other countries might need the "00".
