Windows Update failed

Hi a quick question. Am trying to install an update and it keeps failing. Error code is 80073712. Details are Windows PowerShell 2.0 and WinRM 2.0 for Windows Vista (KB968930)

Try turning off USER ACCOUNT CONTROL then try to install the updates,remember to turn U.A.C. back on when you have finished,hope this works for you.0

How do I turn UAC off? Tried again there and the green bar went all the way and then same thing.0

Go into control panel,User accounts and family safety.Add or remove user accounts,think you will be ok from there it more or less explains itself from there,if not let me know.0

Yes it said it needed to reboot my machine. Should I reboot? I'm not going to get any password boxes up am I?0

If you receive error 80073712 when you try to install Windows Vista updates, the Windows component store is corrupt.

Quick edit you could try downloading to install later disconnect from internet disable Anti Virus try installing then if that doesn't work start in safemode and try again.0 -
