It was a very busy saturday afternoon ,the machine did buzz, assistant came over flashed his card and said ,carry on,so I did ,he never noticed the 50p had increased to £4.50p . The second time I did it ,he just said ,another 50p one ? I said yes so he flashed it through.
You 've got to act a bit stupid ,as if you only expected 50p off anyway

Hi, I posted all the details of the vouchers and what they scan at, in MBN's Magazine offers thread here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=257392
You only need to read post 1 to find the magazine you want and what the coupons scan at. But I would recommend reading the thread a couple of times a week to see if any more juicy coupons have been added!

Tried the self scan in Kidsgrove Tesco for the first time. Thought I'd attempt to use a couple of coupons and it was fine!!!!!!!! Saved a whole 80p! Now I know how to use it ... don't know what I was worried about - nothing to it. Will carry on using my vouchers there for small shopping trips. Hi I have been to Tesco tonight and I bought 2 DVD's and a PSP games. I went thru the self scan and used £10 worth of vouchers (mainly asda ones) and I had no probs whatsoever.0 -
