I've had coupons refused every time by Kidsgrove Tesco for the past 4 weeks or so. Prior to this they were happy to accept them. I may have to resort to self scan but I'm clueless about what to do. Do you have to pay by cash when you use these? Don't want to ask a SA or I will probably have the coupons refused again. Tried Waitrose last weekend (had £40 of Watirose vouchers thru Piggy Points, otherwise Waitrose would be too expensive for us!). SA very miserable and carefully looked at all my other coupons (I tried about 6) she kept saying,'I don't think we sell this' etc. I politely said 'Oh usually they just check that they scan and if they do they usually let me use a few'. In the end I got about 70p off... better than nothing but was hoping for a bit more. So I really do need to use self scan at Mr T. Any advice?Weight loss - here we go again - watch this space!

Glad it went OK - I'd read your message earlier and was thinking of you today - and keeping fingers crossed that it alright - I went through Tescos during the week and managed 4 of the asda todkens (all reading high) plus the pen one and they were all accepted...went yesterday and none were accepted - so its down to luck and just being prepared that it might not....wish I'd known about this years ago ....maybe the stores wouldn't have made such big profits!0 -

Do you have a somerfield near you because at the moment their magazines have got 2 £5 vouchers that scan at tescos. If you have a few low value coupons to go with them they can go unnoticed!!Especially if you are buying something as expensive as nappies!
Hang on in there they won't be in nappies forever!0 -
Congratulations Tinkerbell. I was thinking about you and hoping that it would work out okay for you.0

If you want to use coupons dont go to Kidsgrove. They are so rude and unhelpfull now. Go to Hanley or Trentvale if you can. I've had much better luck there. I used to use Kidsgrove all the time but last time I went in I just left my shopping on the till and told them to put it back.
Where's a local Waitrose suziewuzie? The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0
