It's actually free with the purchase of most cars, and the Polo comes with free insurance and £500 off:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. I got it for free with my Touran almost a year ago and on Tuesday had the 20k service done [I know, I have racked up the miles this year...]
However, I thought that I would end up paying for parts or oil but so far I haven't paid a penny and the garage gives me & the kids free bus vouchers to go into the city whilst the car is in there. It was also washed & vacuumed when I collected it. Thumbs up from me.0 -

I have just been looking into a maintenance package for the other halfs car, find out how often the vehicle needs servicing and found out how much the services will cost.
But I assume it works out better or they would not do it, only thing with the package your looking at is nothing else is covered other than servicing and it only covers you upto 30,000 miles. Easy to workout if its worth doing on not as they are only covering 2-3 services thats it.0 -
I bet the glass is always half empty with you Sniper?!
The 10k service, even at our reduced rate for over 3yr old cars, is £129. The 20k service is £189, plus another £129 makes well over £500...and you're getting that for £299! It has actually caused internal ructions within the Dealerships, as we were 'told' that we were doing these, even though we will make virtually nothing on them.:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Interesting. That was the kind of info I was looking for. Thank you.
I am not surprised now that the sales guy was pushing the protective cover package much harder than the service pack.0 -

Confused, dont get why you say that.
I said I assume it works out better or they would not offer it.
So basicly saying it probley gets you a saving doing it this way and its easy to work out.
I just also highlighted if your doing high milage then the deal is not such a good offer as it does not cover things that are covered in other types of maintenance packages like what I have been looking at.0 -
I'm still trying to establish which cars have free servicing for three years. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
