Afternoon, all. Just thought I'd pop in and say I managed a Low Spend Day - only spent £2 on some pears and some mushrooms off the market. Both were £1 for a big bowl, so I'm very happy. I'm thinking of turning the pears into a pear and chocolate pudding that I can freeze, and the mushrooms just because we like them (particularly with fajita seasoning - yum!).
I'd forgotten it was a five week month this month. Looks like I'll blow my budget again, but must keep plugging away until it creeps down! Thanks, everyone, for the support.

Thanks to this thread saving me about £250/ month i have been able to buy my longed for dy$on, it is bliss not having to get on my hands and knees for about an hour a day with the hoover nozzle to get my carpets clean, its AMAZING how much they suck up that you would never know is there...i am one happy bunny.
Did some more shopping today used my te$co DTD voucher £34 so no cash spend for groceries today. i said i would use the voucher as cash but im actually getting things for free and the voucher they are giving me for this shop should be around £39 so im actually £5 in profit, this will replace my £34 voucher for next months groceries and i will use this instead of cash. (unless i can get more dtd products and end up with extra money vouchers) cant believe they are doing this, as well as clubcard points (which i will save for the year for the great double up clubcard exchange later in the year for xmas) this is saving me soooo much and i get to buy luxury items.SPC Member#1096 Target £150 Feb Count £82.18

Sunnyday - Can I ask a question regarding your Slow Cooked Brisket which sounds delicious? Is this brisket a large joint or is it chopped up into chunks before you cook it?
Not been on here for several days but still sticking to the menu plan and trying to last until the weekend before shopping again!
Hi TheBees - just seen this so i hope that i`m not too late, the brisket is put in the sc in one huge lump.
