mine has to wear 'something yellow', and luckily Nana bought him a Bumblebee Transformer costume for xmas, so thats an easy solution! quintwins you have HT already? or just inset days?

all going well this month grocery-wise. have had to buy milk and bread, but otherwise the meal plan is being kept to (sometimes rejiging if i CBA or not in the mood for something), and i have even resisted any form of takeout or eating out, despite it being offered several times! The freezer is jam-packed and i am working my way through it all. OH was very impressed when i produced hotcross buns for his lunch despite not going to the shop or baking them. A few days later i also produced hot dog rolls except this time he was prepared and said 'from the freezer?'. i said 'yep!'. he said, 'you're doing well keeping this up!'. and that was enough support and approval to last me the week. :rotfl:oh men are funny arent they. (no offence roger/nick) :D

thank you!! will take some time to digest it! So as you are shopping on tesco site it states whether its cheaper or do you have to go between the two?

If you go to the Mr T price checker it will show their price, Mr A's price & also for some reason sainsbugs price. Make sure you check immediately before going shopping though as it may change!

Sorry, meant to say NSD Sunday, yesterday & today. This morning I managed to give my son too much insulin by mistake so on the advise of the diabetic nurse we are at home for the day doing hourly rings or texts with his blood sugar readings to get through the day as best as we can! I was feeling very stressed earlier but calming down quite a bit now!

Reporting in another spend: £21.66 spent at Mr M today on half the week's main shop. Not aiming to get anything else now until Thursday, so fingers crossed for that! It was mainly an "essentials' shop, including tea (just discovered how nice Yorkshire Tea is - mmm!), bacon and fruit. The rest of the stuff (tins & bottles) I'll get on Thursday when I have the car.

Tea tonight is going to be enchiladas. It's going to be a treat! Oh, and while the oven is on for that I'll bake a batch of Twink's lovely hobnobs for the biscuit tin. DH prefers them to shop bought!

Have a nice evening, everyone. (((hugs))) to those in need.
