Morning everyone, just popping on to add another spend for today - £11.32 at Mr A. While we didn't really need the stuff, I don't normally go into Mr A and have bought things that we like. These'll last us a while without feeling we are "compromising" by buying a similar item from somewhere else. I'll update my sig, and really must make an effort not to go out the next few days!
In any case, there's lasagne for tea. I'm making a huge batch of it so there'll be loads to freeze and have another day. I intend to cram it with as much veg as I can and pad it out with oats or lentils to give it a little extra food value. There's about 350g of mince, and with the additions I'm hoping to get about 8-10 portions of lasagne from it.
Have a good day, everyone.

No sign that the cancer has spread so operation is on the agenda. Two places to operate but it has to be done. They may now operate first and treatment after-unsure. More scans and test but we are getting there!
Spiggle-I do hope that your worries on the lymphs are also unfounded. A pet scan shows them up well!
My thoughts are with you-working keeps you in focus I guess. I went to get my own blood tests today and asked too many questions of the receptionist so she printed it all out for me! So just ask if you want to read up on your blood results any time. Ive had fun typing in all sorts of things-very informative. ...
Angel I am so pleased for you and your OH, I have been really worried about you both. :kisses3:
Thanks for your kind advice. The CT scan is definitely showing enlarged mediastinal lymphs but nothing in any other sites (which is probably good). Further blood tests and exams negated sarcoidosis but confirmed raised lymphoma indicators though not at very high levels. And I'm not presenting with any symptoms the specialists would expect with lymphoma. So they think by a miracle and a blessing (completely unrelated incident where I ended up in hospital having chest x-ray) they have 'caught' lymphoma at very early stage. The op will give 100% diagnosis and then prognosis which at the present time they suggest will be aggressive treatment with radiation/chemo.helen_jelly wrote: »Angel - so glad to hear the news - lots of "good result for Op" being sent
Now we need to concentrate on Spiggle too
You are such a kind person Helen, :A your Mum must be so proud of you.
Right back to GC. OH got a couple of things yesterday including the expensive glucosamine that to be fair keeps the arthritis in my hands at bay. Also some nanas from the greengrocer and a bargain from one of the pound shops where a C*db*rys Christmas selection box of full size chocolate was only a pound! Yay, bargain. :T I'll update the sig in a minute.
OH has the dough on for pizza to go with our rugby this afternoon and our friend is bringing a variety of hm pasties. Then have other friends joining us later to have an update on what's happening with me and then a good few games of cards, probably poker for a change.
Have a great weekend everyone,

Good morning Ladies and Gents
DH has gone to the allotment this morning with the DC, so I have some peace and quiet for a while. I have sent them off with drinks bottles and the half of the banana loaf that was left. Hopefully that will stop DH getting snacks and stuff in Sainsbo's when he goes in to get the stuff on my shopping list that I forgot on the delivery. Sultana's and worcestershire sauce (he doesn't like the gluten free one I got <rolls eyes> )
While he is out I am going to try and clear out the food cupboard.
DH has just phoned and he is in B&Q as he needed to get grow bags. Why he couldn't have gone to the Pound Shop I don't know. By the sound of it he has picked up this and that and this...because....AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!! why can't he understand I am trying to save money :mad:BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Just rang DH to see how he is doing. He is only now just going to' the allotment  . All he had to do was get 3 items, so christ knows what he has bought. He is getting the DC chips from the chip shop :mad:. He is doing my head in. We had a row last week on how much money I was spending on food and shopping and he is worse than me :mad: He has been out 2 bloody hours, I thought he would be home for 1pm. Sorry for the rant ladies. Just going to put the chicken in the SC.
Sorry to hear you are all feeling rough Quint.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
