Well, I managed a BIG FAT NSD today! :j
Had some lovely parnsip & parmesan soup for dinner with some bread, both from the freezer. Will have same 2mo to use it all up.
Remembered to take lunch to work today, and have 2mo's ready too.
I do the tesco pricecheck thing too, but I'm not going out of my way to buy stuff just to save IYKWIM. Although the Alta Rica coffee caught my eye..... It's usually on some kind of offer anyway, and I just bought them from Asda.
Have a good weekend everyone
:beer:My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

I've been through this thread loads of times looking but I just can't find a full explanation (I'm not saying its not here) of this money back at mrT or MrA. I have looked at Te$co website and haven't found anything.
Please could someone explain simply for the slow ones like me, exactly what you have to do?"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."Weight loss challenge:j: week 1~ Napoleon Bonaparte

ok just to recap:
te$co price promise:your shopping will be cheaper at mrt then mra or double the difference back (comparable items only)
as above my 2 tre$emme shampoos were £8.60 at mrT but only £4 at mr A so tesco gave me a voucher for double the difference so £9.20 voucher (more than what i spent)
and the 10% one is @sdas price promise: we will be 10% cheaper than te$co or give you the difference back (comparable items only, must be 8 different comparable items in your basket)
when looking for comparable shopping it is easier when you look at branded products you just have to make sure they are the same weight amount etc, it is easy to do this if you go the te$co price Checker and go to check productSPC Member#1096 Target £150 Feb Count £82.18

Been to Mr T's this evening instead of tomorrow morning as I had an hour to kill and managed to spend £48.
Just looked at the receipt and £7.09 of it was toiletries - all needed and will be used but seems like a lot in one go.
I have meal planned and should have everything I need for the week apart from maybe some extra fruit - I'm going through it like there's no tomorrow due to the diet (its working though!). I'll pick that up at the village greengrocers though - avoiding all other temptation in the supermarket!0 -

I know it is really only the middle of March but next Fri will be my last shop in the March challenge due to pay dates. It's the first challenge I've done and have really stuck to planning meals and taking a shopping list - I can't believe how much I have saved this month and think I will just about be within my target. I just looked at Febs food bill -it was over £700:eek: This month £450 hopefully:T At this rate our bank account MAY just about stay in credit this month. Think next month will be harder with easter hols though.Sealed Pot Challenge 2011 / no. 1205 £110 made]Sealed Pot Challenge 2012/no 1205 target £300Jan g/c 355.83/£450

thanks for your help?:D
you put your details in here
http://www.tesco.com/pricecheck/
one point is it's based on your whole shop and not single items so just because you ahve a few that should be more in your basket doesn't mean you will get a voucher, also you should check your items on the tesco checker as some aren't includedDEC GC £463.67/£450

Went to Te$co yesterday and only spent £24.07 :j Got the cheese for 2 4 1 and some lemons which were £1.50 a net but 2 for £2 think that was the only offers I got this week. Brought some sultanas to replace what will use tomorrow and some caster sugar as was almost out of it, few other bits and bobs as well. Have made a big dish full of lemon curd to put in a victoria sandwich which will be made in the morning. I love home made lemon curd and its a huge struggle not to keep nipping in the kitchen and having a spoonful or two. :silenced:
Will need some f & v from green grocers in the morning.
Well withing budget so far - have spent £48.40 out of £250 this month
Thinking of those who are not so good for what ever reason and hope things turn out well for everyone.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
ok firstly when you get up tomorrow recheck your baskets in @sda and te$co as they tend to change their prices daily, purchase your items (making sure you get your receipt) go to the te$co price check online (just google te$co price check) it will ask you to enter the details at the bottom of your receipt you also put your email address (it can take up to 36 hours but they normally get back to me in about 18hrs) they will email you a link when it is ready, click on the link and it will tell you how much your shop cost you at mrt and mra. When mra are cheaper it will say how much by and it will say that they are giving you double the difference back and it will have a button that says print your voucher, click on it and print the page. Then to make sure staple your receipt to the voucher as you need your receipt to redeem your voucher and either redeem it instore or when you shop online you just hand it to your delivery driver and he will take the amount off your shopping.SPC Member#1096 Target £150 Feb Count £82.18
