BT to Sky

Hi all

Recently transferred from BT to Sky ( OK but had to give it a go ) had no probs with canceling BT Vision and got a good deal with Sky and Quidco. Broadband seemed to go Ok and does appear to be faster. Having major problems with Sky Talk but thats another story.

Just got final Bill from BT on which a charge of £30 for " cessation of Broadband service" was made.

Not happy with this I contacted BT who stated that the £30 is a charge raised where broadband is disconected and not transferred to another provider. I pointed out that my Broadband was transferred to Sky and I had got a MAC number from BT.

Whoops from BT and the £30 not taken but no apology.

Just a warning to everyone to check your final bill to see if BT have hit you with this one.
