LPG gas cooker installation cost?

Hi I'm thinking of installing a bottled gas cooker in my cottage. I've been told the installation by a registered gas chap is 'expensive' but I'm wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the cost? Thanks.

Have you already got the bottles and regulator/change over valve fitted?0

Thanks to you both for answering. That gives me an idea of the amount it might be. I have only the cooker, which was given to me. It was in perfect working order so fingers crossed. That's all I have at the moment.0

In that case I would think around £200-£300 depending on how long the pipe run would have to be from the regulator to the cooker.0

Crikey. Well thanks for advising me though - I'm well prepared now! I just hope the cooker passes the test for safety (assuming there is one) Thanks again.0
