cashback Phoneboxdirect

Ahhhhhhhhh

I have a nasty feeling i have messed up my cashback :(

I have a contract with three taken out on a 12 months free line rental by redemption offer through phoneboxdirect. I have been waiting for my fifth bill to arrive after reading on this forum that is the one they want. Well it finally arrived on Tuesday so i sent it off to phoneboxdirect special delivery the same day. Now it is dawning on my i might have needed to send off the 4th one:( I really hope someone can help me work out which one it should be.... too late now obviously if it should have been the fourth! My connection date was the 7th July 2006 and my billing date is the 8th of the month.

Thanks for your help,

MBM xx

  • Dont panic 'mustbe mad'!

You have sent the CORRECT bill to PBD.

The 5th bill confirms that you were connected to the network for 4 months.

In total you will have 5 cashback claims to make - sending bills 5,7,9,11 and Final Bill to get all your cashabck.

    Sleep easy:)
  • thankyou the_tired_one, you have set my mind at rest! Do you have any experience of how long it takes to recieve an email off them to say they have recieved the claim? The Royal Mail tracking portal says it was delivered yesterday.

It varies - sometimes no email, but cheque arrives (handwritten:) ) within 10-14 days. I'm just about to send one off today.

Its the most efficient company Ive dealt with, and their customer service really aims to HELP unlike some of the other retailers who surely are trying to confuse the customers re: their cashback.

Like I said, 'sleep easy' - if you havent heard from them via text/email after 10-14 days, give them a call:)
  • I tell a lie, here is an email they sent me when I submitted my last cashback:-

Thank you for remitting your cash back claim paperwork. It has been submitted on
to our system today and will be processed accordingly.

We will reply by post within 28 days of receipt.

    Kind Regards
    Phonebox Direct
  • Hi, I just thought i would let you know that i have finally recieved my first cashback cheque from phoneboxdirect and give a brief outline of the timelines for anyone else waiting!

My claim was recieved by PBD on 15 Nov. I recieved an email on the 29 Nov to say that my claim had been put on the system and would be processed within 28 days. I recieved another email on the 14 Dec to say that my order had been processed and the paperwork would be put in the post in the next few days. Today, Thursday 21 December I recieved my cheque. So it took five weeks. A bit of a pain waiting so long but at least i got my money!

I am waiting for my 3rd cashback from PhoneBoxDirect (my first arrived within 28 days without problem). My 2nd cashback was short by £13.50. I e-mailed them 4 seperate times regarding the shortfall but never received a response.

I sent my 3rd Cashback Claim by Recorded Delivery and have checked that it was received and it was. I also wrote a letter regarding the shortfall of £13.50 at the same time - last week in November 2006.

I have heard nothing at all from them, either via e-mail or Royal Mail. I am loathe to call them since the phone calls to them are so expensive.

I am considering writing again and giving them 14 days in which to respond before I lodge a claim in the Small Claims Court.

I cant understand why this is happening since others seem to be so satisfied with them right now.

    Anybody else had similar probs?

Just an update to say that it looks like PBD are on top of there claims at the moment! When I sent of my first claim in November, it took 14 days to recieve an email saying it had been imput on to the system. I sent of my 2nd claim on the 17th Jan and they recieved on the 18th. Today I have had an email to say my claim has been imput to their system.. happy days! It was only 6 days this time.. hopefully my cheque will be along in another 2 or 3 weeks :D
