Hi
I am in the process of dealing with the above company. I have a feeling from the amount of times I am being fobbed off regarding my claims that I may be using the wrong company. Yes.... I have paid money up front which I now realise I probably shouldnt have. I am just wondering if anybody can tell me anything about them.
Thanks

oh dear. Poor you.I am just wondering if anybody can tell me anything about them.
Do a forum search and you will be hard pushed to find anything good posted about them. They are heavily criticised for misleading and unethical comments to get you to pay money up front even in cases where you dont have a chance.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Hi Thanks for your reply, I am really worried now, everytime I speak to them I get a different story, Is there anyway I can cancel with them as I dont feel I am getting the service that they promised via the phone. I paid this money out in December... I am now really concerned...:mad:0

i very foolishly gave a large amount of money one sat aft in an error of judgement, the day after tried to cancel with them .. oh my what a nightmare such hard sell such a change in attitude as i wanted to cancel .. i contacted my crdt card they said too late but they would keep all details and put a block on card till resolved also said they would deal with it if i did not get my refund. i contacted also Claims Management Regulation Monitoring & Compliance Unit
Tel No 0845 450 6858
Email: info@claimsregulation.gov.uk and they said would deal with it if i did not get refund . i sent everything back within 3 days of this phone call from wfac , registered post , i was advised by a very put out adviser that it would take 30 days i said ok , but of course after 30 days still no refund and it was a large refund! .. i rang them twice to be told another 7 days . and on fri 25th i emailed to say i would be havin to make 1st payment on my card by 3rd of mar which i did not want to do as refund should be made .. today i got my refund ! .. thank god 41 days after cancelling . i have kept my cool in all of my dealings with these people though they make you feel like screaming at them , they are so rude and make you feel like an idiot! or try to .. but ihave been calm and sooo polite but informing them that steps were in place to get my money back whatever they did . and so lesson learned by myself but i have had a worrying few weeks , i hope you get things sorted with them. i wished i had read up on them before i gave them 4 and a half grand over the phone doh!!! (still cant believe that was me who did that!) must have been a blonde (i am) senior (i am ish?) moment .. but they really pile it on .. DONT GO THERE ,HANG UP ON THEM,they should be closed down. good luck! sharon0 -
i am still waiting on my refund. i have till next tuesday then the 30 days are up. This has made me ill, as like you Sharon i had a blonde moment. I watch my money and have never done this before, this as been a very bad lesson for me. I will give them the 30 days then i will threaten the MOJ, the courts and ask my credit card company to help me get it back. It just goes to show how quick they took my money but not quick to give it back and that thank god i pulled out before the 14 day cooling off period ended ptherwise they could charge me for work already done. Still waiting and worrying:(0

hope you got it sorted ... ? they will refund you but its just how long it takes ... i think once they are fully aware that you will let credit card company and claims management sort it they sort it out ....i informed both the day after i had the 1st phone call .. and after the 30 days when i rang to ask re refund they did try to tell me that the credit card company will take 60 days to get refund .. by which time they said you will have it back! .... but they are a nightmare and as you and many others have said after falling for it .... LESSON LEARNED ..! sharon.0

Just had them on the phone, "in reply to a survey you recently completed", and let them go through their spiel.....
All seemed a bit fishy, but I reluctantly gave them some details. (Credit cards I had, mortgage I was still paying).
From these meager details, they pulled a magic figure of nearly £5K out the hat, and said I could be 'entitled' to this as a refund from 'hidden' PPI charges...(?!) At the same time, I received an email (I'd just given them my email address) and this contained their fee structure.....
I was then transferred to an advisor (deal closer) who was very friendly and personable right up to the point he wanted around £475 paid up front. He even went so far as to inform me that his company policy was to advise clients to put this fee on a credit card "which would be fine as long as I kept up the minimum monthly payment".
It was at this point I interrupted him...
"You want me to pay you nearly 500 quid over the phone, to a company I've never heard of and put it on my credit card? This phone call is over!" and put the phone down. From what I've read here since putting down that phone, I've had a lucky escape.....
Just wish I hadn't been dumb enough to give them so much information in the first place. Now they have my home number and my mobile, my home address and my email. Not good.
Glad to hear someone got their money back though....0 -

Don't use any company; especially "wefightanyclaim.com". My boyfriend, came across this company; he had problems with the hard sell telesales advisors at the end of the phone. They asked him for £750 up front; without much thought he paid it (I was not too happy when he told me). It took him an age to get his money back. Decent companies do not take any money from you on first contact. They do the work, and then you pay them a percentage (average 25% fee)! Legitimate companies offer "No Win No Fee policy and have NO HIDDEN FEES or costs, what so ever". Personally, if you have the intelligence to do it yourself; then just do it or get someone you know to help you!!! I originally went through another Claim handling company and then cancelled. I did it myself; after much thought and to-date, I have been very successful!! I listened to Martin Lewis's advice - Do it yourself. Santander are paying up very quickly currently. Go on; why pay someone to get your money back when you can get all your money back and reap the reward(s)!!! :j
Best of luck!! xx0
