Whats the cheapest way to ring between 2 phones with very heavy use?

Hi
Right, my bf and I are spending a fortune on mobile costs between the 2 of us. We live a long way apart so we talk a lot on the phone.
I'm on a T mobile contract and he's on Orange, both have at least 5 months to run. We both have a spare phone so got orange PAYG sims and have been using their magic numbers thing which gives you 3 x 59 mins a day for 45p.... but if the call gets dropped then you lose one of your lives so to speak so its easy to be spending a lot more.
He can't get magic numbers ( a better version) added onto his Orange contract at the moment either.
I'd say we're both topping up about £10 each a week. Which for the amount of time we spend on the phone is quite a good deal but its still a lot of money. I could get an orange contract for £19 a month which would give me 3000 minutes a month to him under the contract magic numbers scheme but its an 18 month contract.
Sorry I've waffled... but I was wondering whats around thats a cheaper way of doing it. Happy to get a cheap contract with someone else or stay on PAYG.
Any help wouold be great

Sounds like Vodafone Family on PAYG would suit you down to ground. Just one person pays £5 a month for unlimited (60 minute) calls between up to 4 users.

Grab a couple of FREE Voda Payg Sims here:

At Evenings and Weekends can be used in conjunction with Stop the Clock:

Where you can phone any UK standard landline or mobile number, any evening or weekend, and chat for up to an hour. You pay for just three minutes. The other 57 are completely free.0
