Ebay purchase problem, can anyone help please?

    When we took it back she was more worried about feedback, so this must have been why she agreed to it, but she has other electrical items for sale eg a telly which starts off at £550!!! and the wording was the same but she has now added at the end "due to scammers all electrical items must be tested before they are taken".................I am no scammer the item would not even turn on!!!!

    I think she needs to go work out what the term "scammer" means.. she got her non working item back, you got your money back. If anyone was the scammer, it was her for :rotfl:

    i suppose if she thought it worked and the buyer returned one that didnt, she may have thought they had swapped it with hers, but thats her own fault for not testing it first, if she still has the sat dish she can test it for the free channels very easily

    You paid cash on collection so ebay or paypal can't help, you should have asked to see the item working before you paid.

    Ebay can help me and they did! I put a dispute in ebay and this is when we got our money back :):) but if i buy anything again like this will deff ask to see it working!

    You surprise me, and it only took them 3 days to get your money back from the sellers pocket. Normally when you pay cash on collection they do not get involved, as you must have examined the item before you paid.
