LOL SmlSave! Managed to have a brew in peace at my friends whilst all our children played.

Have had a spend day in the end. After my friends house I was feeling rather yuck with low blood sugars so brought a sandwich from Boots. Also popped in TK Maxx and a few weeks ago saw a garden ornament I loved (terracotta headless bust thing, sort of Samurai style) in the clearance section for £15. Brought it today for £5 the original tag states £30 so a nice little bargain. Used the cash I had in my purse rather than debit card. Weighed a blinking tonne though - must've looked a right sight trying to hobble to car and push pram and drag DS1 along too!

Right better get changed ready for school meeting or they'll think my son belongs to a tramp.
Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!
    Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings
MFW target 2012 to save £11,000 for Over Payments/fill ISA's and reduce lots of things - outgoings, alcohol, waste, weight

Busy time here hence my lack of posts the last few days. Just busy with the kids and half term and the house, etc. Also trying to do some work on my fianl exam - hard with the neighbours kids winding me up though!

Have updated my signature after DH's payday and all looks good. His ISA is filled to the max now and currently everything saved this year totals £7432.66. Hoping this month I can also watch the spends and save another £250 (ish) into my ISA. If everything works and I stick to the plan, I'm hoping to be able to almost fill my ISA at the end of this month. Thanks to DH's bonus we should be well on track to meet the target to save £14k this year and maybe (fingers and toes crossed) beat it.

All of our direct debits came out today which I like as I know whats left in the account in ours and not owed out anywhere, juggled some money around to cover expenses of the weekend. Have also submitted our energy readings so awaiting a bill from them in the next few days, last times electric was high due to having an estimated bill for over a year so will be interesting to see a 'true' reading.

Can you believe I've still heard nothing about starting work:mad::mad:?!

No spends on the credit card this weekend although this month will seem long as we have 5 weekends in between paydays. Weekend was fairly frugal and low spends. Today should work out to be a NSD which I don't feel I've had for a while.
