According to BOE below, the interest rate remains the same:

Cheers for the link Froggy! We must've posted at the same time, the contents of the minutes will be interesting reading when they come out due the inflation rates, etc. and sure the fact we are about to go to war with Libya over oil will have some effect on it too.Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings

Nothing much to report at the minute! Just ticking along, waiting for another payday really! Busy week here...we're off on holiday next week, I've got 1250 word report to write for Uni, the car needs its first MOT, I need to start organising gifts for MILs 60th, FIL and SIL birthday when we get back plus Mothers Day and helping at MIL's party. So I'm really going to try and cut back on my internet time while the baby sleeps and DS1 in nursery or the kids are out - I need a few more hours in the day!
The 0% cc has arrived is currently at £1990 with £1800 sitting in my bank waiting to pay it off. Am really torn whether to pay if off or use the money to top up this tax year ISA, pay the min on it for April and then use May's OP money to clear the cc. Although it does make sense with the interest rates, I'm just not sure if I can get over the whole 'debt on credit card' thing again. Need to have a think about it really.
The only other big thing going on is that I have a job interview......gulp. Its in a very specialised area of the NHS and what I really, really want to do. My degree was a way of getting in there but (and a huge but) if I can land a job there, I can train whilst working part time. Am completely bricking it about the interview already so I also need to fit in some revising this week on it.
Have been so shocked over whats happened in Japan! My heart truly breaks for the people over there....one poor woman was on the news today looking for her 99 year old mother but she didn't even know where the house should be, she only found what she thought were curtains from her mothers house. How completely and utterly sad.
Right, better get the washing hung out and then start drafting some notes for this report. Later 'agters!Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings

Just wanted you to know that I am really enjoying your diary - my girlies are all grown up now, but in lots of ways you remind me of myself 10 years or so ago - keep up the good work and good luck with your interview!:)Not Buying It! 20150

Hi Dee2 - thanks for your comments - glad someones enjoying my waffle! LOL
What a pants day today turned into. Have decided I have two very brat-ish children with only myself to blame. Had a complete nightmare of a day with the kids and am wondering right now why I bother??
Managed to get a few things done this morning and tonight -
1. MOT booked and printed off £10 off voucher
2. rang about my job interview - very MFW!!!
3. pie made using leftover gammon,
4. holiday online checking in and activities bookings done as cheaper to book before you arrive
5. Plus jobs for today done, beds changed, kids taken to park and catch up with BF, started research and drafting some notes about my report.
I know it makes sense for the credit card to wait but I'm honestly freaking out about owing them money again so asking myself if its worth it....need some more thoughts on this.
Chalking up today as a bad day, think I'll watch the news for half an hour to remind myself how lucky I am in this world and to get over myself!Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings

We all have moments of thinking our kids are behaving like brats. Usually with mine when they are being very demanding or hurting each other. I have to stop and remind myself that earlier they were being nice with each other and me.
Kids are selfish little people, who have not a thought in their head for what their mummy is feeling about it all. Forget about today. Tomorrow is a new one to try again.0 -
re the credit card - we have some on a 0% with the cash offsetting it. It doesn't sit comortably with me having a balance on the card either, but am leaving it at the mo, just to be sure no big bills arrive0

Thanks Michelle - the trouble is he is so normally like a little angel child, when he is naughty is really shows. Had a chat with his teacher yesterday as this bad behavior has been going on for a while and she was really supportive, had a good day with him yesterday and turns out his teacher had a little chat with him about how he acts at home so nice to know they are supportive.
Yukki - thanks for your comments, its hard isn't it. Nice to have a chunk of cash you can get to quickly, the jury's still out here...have to Friday to decide.
Again nothing much to report, had a very low spend day yesterday. Moved some cash about this morning, taken my MOT money out of the 'car saving' to avoid going OD and topped up with the rest of our months spending money. Had an odd amount to be transferred so £4.10 into OP pot to round it off.
Fingers crossed the car sales through the MOT! Have a funny feeling about the emissions though....we'll see.Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings

What activities have you booked at CP? Our pack came yesterday and I can't decide what to book (if anything). Sam wants to do the falconry but I think he will be scared (he's 5) I'm reluctant to pay for it, if he won't do it.
Hope your car is ok!0 -
Hi Caroline
I don't book much to be honest! I've booked one bike as I don't have one, the ten pin bowling (cheaper if you do it early in the morning but these spaces run out quickly when you arrive so book online and the queues always been huge there) and for DS1 a football training class to see if he likes it. Then we just use all the free stuff - bike riding, swimming, etc - and don't eat in the restaurants apart from the pool at lunchtime as the service is shocking in every place we've tried. My DS1 (4 and a half) is quite a brave little thing but don't think he'd do the falconry (but then neither would I!).
Thankfully car passed - woohoo! So £35 and done for another year.Trying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings
