Sorting out a memory stick

The USB stick might have been split into two logical areas. The document might be in an area that your system does not see or you are only looking at the one without it by default.
Formatting the wrong area wont help obviously.0 -
Try downloading and installing EASUS Partition manager. This will show you any partitions on the pendrive and allow you remove them all prior to creating one large 1Gb partition.Never Knowingly Understood.

Thanks, I've done this but it doesn't show that the drive is partitioned. It just shows the files that I've put on there.0 -

Yeah, it formatted it, but it still didn't get rid of the Adobe file. Every time I plug the drive in, my computer whirrs away to open this file and I get a message saying that I might not have the most uptodate version of Adobe. So I have to dismiss that and close the Adobe window. It's pants.0 -
Maybe if I open it up with a magnifying glass and a penknife I'll be able to see where the file is and scratch it out?0

The memory stick shows up as both a disc drive, with 9.89MB on it, and a removable drive 963MB.
Stop your pc from auto running. Doubt you will ever remove it .
Ever hear the saying "no such thing as a free lunch.... err.... memory stick .." ???0 -

Try checking the show hidden files box in folder optionsIt said on the box requires Windows 7 or better, so I bought a MAC0
