    This weeks to-do list
    Check on ham - done
    RSVP Christmas party - done
    Groceries - done
    Dust
    Vacuum - vacuum died yesterday . . .
    Buy new vacuum - DONE and on special - half price
    Keep on top of laundry (in other words, mustn't let mountain get so big that I can't climb it!) Trying my best
    Phone my neice who's birthday it is today - oops, belated wishes today
    Check out prices of printers - DONE
    DS2 end of school leaving party -
    - he needs to see if his dads or brothers good trousers fit him - Dads will do, but he needs a belt . . .
    - buy him a tie (will wear dads black shirt) BOUGHT TIE
    - find belt
    Catch up with finances - business and personal - made a start
    Bank cheques on Friday
    Recycle

    Also picked two bags of fresh peas last night - what do I have to do with them before freezing them?

    - [STRIKE]buy xmas presents for nephew and ds[/STRIKE] bought nephews in town and ordered ds' online :T (even cheaper AND with cashback :D)

    OH picked ds up from nursery earlier and managed to get him home with a hat and a jacket that are not his :rolleyes: :confused: - how can OH NOT know what belongs to ds :think:

    BUT on the other hand he actually asked when we are putting the tree up :D
    and even had a look around where to put it :T
    I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)

    Morning All,

    Jobs for today:

    1. Wash Towels
    2. Take down dry washing
    3. Hang up Towels
    4. Clean Bathroom
    5. Clean Bathroom Floor
    6. Cook dinner
    7. Wash Up
    8. Post last of Christmas Cards
    9. Feed and water rabbit
    10. Spend 15 minutes tidying spare room
    11. Phone doctors
    12. Phone hairdressers to change appointment

    Also have to go to work, so that is enough for today!!
    Will let you know how I get on later.

    Oh and Punky - no secret to my weight loss, have started going to the gym 3 times a week and eating healthier foods, also cutting down on snacks. Just the old fashioned hard slog way, but it is paying off!

    I feel all gooey now . . . :)

    Haven't done anything extra on any list except put up Christmas tree, but it's still not decorated.

    Tomorrows list


    Sort business finances!!! This is a must. First month in new business and having to do accounts from home and it's all gone to pot! Must get myself organised and into a system! Cannot put this off!

    Anything else is secondary ~ but will possibly:
    Do a little bit of birthday and Christmas shopping;
    Some laundry;
    Also have DS school leaving evening starting at 6pm.

    Thursday 7th December.

    18 days until christmas!!!!! TICK TICK TICK... where are the days going???

    Today..

    Fold dry stuff[/STRIKE]

    bake cake
    Arrange washer repair .. they are coming today![/STRIKE].. been.. there was a hama bead stuck in the pump ROFL!!
    vacuum front and back room... I have picked up all the rubbish and mess ready to do this though
    Put the big cot up in the girly room.. now I can't find the bolts.. the place I thought they were is filled with the screws from something else! I'm not having a good day!
    Find & vacuum the floor in the boys room.. no chance!!
    Fill 1 binbag for charity shop
    [STRIKE]Fill 1 binbag for the wheelie bin
    Sweep kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    Mop kitchen floor... IF!! I can find the ever elusive mop! It is swept and the mop has disappeared!
    [STRIKE]Phone tech support to see if the lack of email connection is due to their problem or mine! [/STRIKE] That was a waste of time!

    This week..

    Declutter worksurfaces in the kitchen, the one where I pile ALL the clean washing.. you cannot see out of the window at the moment!!
    Complete this weeks sewing challenge (ie clear some fabric from my stash under the stairs!)



    Before christmas..


    Wrap remainder of christmas presents.
    Sort the playroom.
    Send toys to nursery/bin/charity shop/ebay
    finish christmas shopping and wrapping.. DH some bike lights, my mother (my sisters and I are clubbing together and getting her a sewing machine!) and 2 sisters to do... easy!

  • Morning all! Sitting down with coffe and one of DD's shortbread hearts - yummy! Today I've done:

    Buy stamps - done
    Shopping list – written
    Records – dusted and moved to shelf
    Contact DD’s dance school – done
    Sew on Scout badges – done
    Order DH’s present on-line – done
    Clean Freecycled Dyson - done
    Clean and polish DD’s Freecycled art folder – done
    Marrow – prepared. Some started for jam, rest frozen
    Post – dealt with

    Off for 15 min bursts in the dining room, then upstairs loo.

    Pigpen, the bolts will be in the last place that you look!!! :D Hope you find them soon, or will the baby be able to go anywhere in the night?

    Lynz, you seem to be keeping very sane, under the circumstances! :T

    Flis - I suspected as much! :confused:

    ehm, nothing to report really :o

    BUT cake is baking away :D (at least SOMETHING to cross off!)

    ds is at nursery, dd has just gone to bed (after lots and lots of 1-on-1 time with mummy!!!)

    still lots to do :confused:

    - tidy kitchen
    - clean surfaces
    - s/s
    - sweep floors
    - eat cake
    - search for OH xmas present (i finally had an idea :j:j:j)
    - paper mountain :confused: again?!?!
