then RUN TOOL
Search for and destroy the file

ive ran hijack but cant paste the results

done as u suggested with malwarebytes. released the infected file, then went on malwarebytes, it said the file didnt exist so i created then deleted.
hijack this is telling me,system denied access to host and to edit file myself. i followed instructions,it says cannot find this file.
i have tried to run hiack this again,and cant. thank you for your help alienrik

You really need to come out of windows to track it down. Kaspersky etc have a RESCUE CD which will boot up out directly from the cd.

thanks but havnt got a clue how to do that impecunious.the only kaspersky cd ive got is the installation one
i am running another full system scan with kaspersky. do tou think its likely to pick it up again?

I've been using Kaspersky for a while and had a few odd events reported. On at least one occasion the problem lay with a corrupt AV database which was resolved as follows:

1. Open the main Kaspersky screen
2. Click on update centre on the left of the screen
3. Click on roll back to the previous database

Allow this to proceed, then update the database.

will try that in a few hours when scan finishes erasion. kaspersky was telling me the problem was with facebook, ive still got 10 pics of friends on wall, that after deleting reppear again after refreshing, so dont know if this is the cause. after following alienriks advice, kaspersky is flashing green now insted of the red when it had picked up the problem, thanks
