Housing Benefit: Any other income?

I receive Housing Benefit. My main hobby is horse racing and I regularly have a small bet. Sometimes I make a modest profit and sometimes a small loss.
Do I have to declare my profits from gambling to my Local Council under the "Any other income" section of the Claim form or Change of Circumstances" form.
The betting transactions will appear on my bank statements so will be visible.
dmg24 and others with similar attitude problems need not respond. (some hope!)

Who says I do not work. I am retired. I paid National Insurance for fifty years and I do voluntary work with Alzheimers suffers. Why do people like you not ask before making assumptions.

"why have it paid into your bank? There are other ways to collect and pay, off and online."Where can I find out about this? I have searched all the usual places but only come up with dodgy propositions.
Thanks

Well, why not pay back your profits from gambling to your council so they don't have to pay so much for your dwelling?
Oh no, don't like the sound of that do you?0 -
go into a bookies ask to set up a Phone-a-bet account, you can pay over the counter and collect over the counter.
Quickcash. you pay over the counter, do your business online and print out a voucher to collect in a shop I don't know if ALL bookies do this, I know for sure WH does, Google Quickcash betting to find out about it.0 -
hb and ctb would only be concerned if the amounts were large and regular. What income are you receiving at the moment?0

The OP obviously has more benefit than they need as he's down the bookies frittering away money I pay into the bloody system!
If he has, say £20 a week to go gambling benefit away, then his HB should be cut accordingly.
Or is he comfortable to know he could be depriving those in genuine need which is what the system is for!?:mad:0
